About this skill
Problem
When cutting or bulking, the hard part is not choosing exercises. It is connecting daily training, meal logging, and calorie targets into a repeatable workflow. People often forget today's session, estimate food only by feeling, and forget to recheck targets after weight or goal changes, leaving reviews scattered.
How It Works
FitPilot starts from a user profile: height, weight, sex, activity level, and goal. If age is missing, it asks once. It calculates BMR with Mifflin-St Jeor, applies an activity factor to get TDEE, and then sets target calories for cutting, bulking, or maintenance.
- Training reminders and check-ins: uses
training-plan.mdto suggest today's training, and records status when the user says 'training complete', 'check-in', or 'partially done'. - Meal logging: estimates portions from photos or text, calculates calories, protein, carbs, and fat, and accumulates daily intake using
nutrition-db.md. - Review and configuration: can generate daily summaries and weekly reports; after changing weight, goal, or manually setting calories, it updates recommendations.
Notes
It is suitable for everyday fitness and diet support, not clinical nutrition diagnosis, disease management, or personalized medical prescriptions. Food values are estimates; actual intake varies with portion size, cooking method, and product formulation. If age, weight, or activity level changes, update the profile before recalculating.
Use Cases
- After dinner, send a meal photo or description to estimate calories, protein, carbs, and fat and add them to the daily total.
- At night, ask what to train today, then report completion or partial completion so the session is logged with feedback.
- After changing weight from 76 kg to 74 kg or switching the goal to bulking, update the profile and recalculate targets.
- On Friday evening, request a weekly review of training check-ins, calorie intake, and the next week's adjustment needs.
Best For
- People training five times a week who want to manage a calorie deficit for cutting.
- Beginners tracking meals who want photos or descriptions converted into macros.
- Users switching between cutting and bulking who need recalculated calorie and macro targets.
- People who need daily summaries and weekly reviews to maintain training and intake consistency.
