About this skill

Problem

Party/government documents, thought reports, work briefs, and civil-service-style resumes often have inconsistent formatting: margins, font levels, line spacing, indentation, numbering, formal dates, and tone are hard to align manually. Common details such as FangSong_GB2312, 28 pt line spacing, and Chinese formal dates are easy to miss during review. This skill turns GB/T 9704-2012 into practical drafting and QA rules, reducing rework caused by formatting errors.

How It Works

  • Layout: Use A4 portrait by default, with margins of 2.54cm top and bottom, 2.8cm left, and 2.5cm right; white background and black text.
  • Font hierarchy: Main title in SimHei size 2, centered and bold; first-level heading in SimHei small size 3; second-level heading in KaiTi_GB2312 size 4; body and signature blocks often in FangSong_GB2312 small size 4.
  • Spacing rules: Fixed line spacing of 28 pt; official documents, reports, and summaries use a two-character first-line indent; resumes and registration forms use left alignment without indentation.
  • Numbering and dates: Follow 一、 →(一)→ 1. →(1) without mixing or skipping levels; formal completion dates use Chinese numerals, such as 二〇二六年五月十八日.
  • Tone cleanup: Remove colloquial expressions, internet slang, and memes; prefer formal governmental verbs such as implement, coordinate, promote, carry out, supervise, and rectify.
  • Workflow: Use it for drafting, proofreading, and resume formatting; consult references/gb-standard.md when a more detailed clause-by-clause check is needed.

Boundaries and Notes

It is suitable for formal party/government documents, summaries, briefs, speech drafts, and internal-style resumes, not for branded design, marketing, or highly customized layout work. If the target organization has its own template, follow that template. The skill focuses on formatting, hierarchy, tone, and basic structure; it does not replace factual verification, classification review, legal review, or organization-specific confidentiality requirements.

Use Cases

  • When drafting party or government documents, check margins, font levels, line spacing, and signature blocks against the standard.
  • Before revising thought reports or work summaries, unify numbering levels, first-line indentation, formal dates, and serious tone.
  • When preparing a civil-service-style resume, switch to left alignment without indentation and emphasize discipline, competence, and political awareness.
  • When preparing a speech draft, condense long passages into formal, read-aloud-friendly wording with key points first.

Best For

  • Administrative staff responsible for official document review who need zero-error formatting, fonts, and dates.
  • Party or office cadres writing annual summaries or thought reports who need formal tone, numbering, and heading levels.
  • Job applicants preparing public-institution or state-owned-enterprise applications who need a formal internal-style resume.
  • Report writers preparing briefs or speeches who need concise, dignified wording suitable for read-aloud delivery.
