How It Works
The workflow is centered on structured templates and chapter-by-chapter generation:
- Material collection: clarify the theme, one-sentence premise, genre tags, background, and character details.
- Template filling: use the five modules in assets/novel-prompt-template.md, fill {{placeholders}} with user material, and generate a customized prompt.
- Chapter planning: allocate the three-act structure, roughly 25% setup, 50% conflict, and 25% resolution, usually across 5–10 chapters.
- Incremental generation: produce 1–2 chapters at a time, checking chapter position, key plot points, character state, and continuity with prior text.
- Consistency checks: review plot logic, emotional continuity, language style, timeline, and detail conflicts, then adjust later chapters if needed.
- Final pass: reread the full story and confirm that the ending echoes the opening and the theme lands.
