Problem

Ideas often arrive as fragments: "what if...", "needs validation", or "maybe buy a tech ETF later". If they are pasted into chat or a plain note, context disappears quickly, and it becomes hard to tell whether the item is a work idea, an investment hypothesis, a project concept, or just a thought to test later.

How it works

Inspiration Hunter turns scattered input into searchable personal notes instead of immediately generating a full solution. The core flow is:

• Trigger detection: it looks for signals such as idea, thought, needs validation, and related phrasing, then decides whether to capture the input.
• Classification and tagging: it maps the content to categories such as #work, #investment, #project, and #needs-validation, keeping one primary label while adding secondary tags when useful.
• Structured save: it creates a Markdown record named YYYYMMDD Topic.md and writes it to ~/Desktop/Inspiration Library/, creating the folder if it does not exist.
• Confirmation feedback: it returns the saved path and a brief summary, making later retrieval and follow-up easier.

Boundaries

It is useful for quickly capturing personal inspiration, work ideas, technical thoughts, and hypotheses worth testing. It is not a substitute for a full requirements document, an investment decision system, or a formal knowledge base. The skill should preserve the user's original intent, clearly separate any AI-added analysis, and mark investment or high-stakes decisions as #needs-validation rather than treating them as conclusions.
