Rolling back exactly one DSH Agent turn without disturbing the rest of your workspace has been a real gap in local agent workflows. dsh-tauri-turnrewind pins every claimed Agent turn to a private Git snapshot that lives entirely outside your project .git—HEAD, branches, index, and stash stay byte-for-byte untouched. The /undo command runs a two-phase flow: a red-green diff preview card with a file manifest appears first, and files are only restored after you explicitly confirm. If the disk has changed since the turn completed, the plugin treats it as a conflict, refuses to overwrite, and shows exactly what changed rather than silently clobbering. Snapshot chains self-heal: a corrupted private repo is rebuilt on the next capture, and alternates-borrowed objects pruned by the source repo\u2019s gc are detected and the store degrades to self-contained mode, with stale turns marked as dead snapshots instead of throwing raw git errors. The workspace must sit inside a Git worktree; non-Git directories are skipped. Files not covered by the source repo\u2019s ignore rules (including .env) will be snapshotted\u2014the plugin emits a one-time privacy notice on first tracking but treats it as a reminder, not a gate.

This is aimed at engineers building locally with the DSH Tauri desktop app who regularly let an Agent batch-edit files, run scripts, or reformat code, and occasionally need to rewind exactly one turn without side effects. The plugin turns safe rewind into a productized flow with preview, conflict detection, and ledger-backed auditability. It is still an experimental Host MVP: the controlled host sandbox and Tauri bridge are not yet wired in, capacity governance is coarse-grained, and features like recursive parent-conversation undo, inline message Undo buttons, and per-turn fine-grained ref cleanup remain on the roadmap. The author recommends trying it in a disposable workspace first.
