DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is a plugin-centric agent development environment. The default interface often cannot meet personalized requirements. The following section introduces a third-party bundle that transforms DSH into the style of Rhine Lab from Arknights by replacing the splash animation, adjusting the color scheme, and changing the logo.
What Is This¶
dsh-rhine-splash is a fun reskinning plugin maintained by Respawn-ID. It mainly addresses the issue of “default appearance homogenization” and provides a complete visual customization solution by programmatically generating graphics without relying on official game assets. The project is licensed under MIT.
Core Features¶
- Splash Animation: Includes authentication, a welcome page, and multiple exit animations (such as airlock doors, dissolving code, glitch tearing, etc.).
- UI Theme: Changes the default cool color scheme to a warm color scheme, and replaces rounded corners with chamfered corners.
- Branding Logo: Supports two logo styles, “Module Nameplate” and “Open Cell,” each of which can be toggled individually.
- Configuration Options: Supports adjusting animation duration, colors, theme mode, and more.
Installation and Enablement¶
- Ensure DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2 is installed.
- Run the installation command in the terminal (using the desktop version as an example):
dsh plugin --profile desktop add "github:Respawn-ID/dsh-rhine-splash"
- After installation, turn on the plugin in the Plugins page, then completely quit Harness and reopen it for the changes to take effect.
- Note: Installing the web version requires pnpm to be available in the terminal.
- Note: Automatic updates are not currently supported; to upgrade, uninstall and reinstall the plugin.
Typical Usage¶
- Preview Animation: Type
/splashin a session to preview or adjust common options. - Modify Configuration: Edit the configuration file
~/.dsh/profiles/desktop/cordis.patch.yml. For example, set a fixed exit animation:
- id: rhine-splash
config:
exit: iris
duration: 5000
Use Cases and Notes¶
- Suitable for developers who want an immersive experience when DSH starts.
- The plugin runs with the permissions of the current process; it is recommended to check the source code and license before installing.
- This plugin is a third-party project in the community catalog and is not directly affiliated with the official DeepSeek team.
- Note: Harness must be completely quit for the changes to take effect; merely closing the window or refreshing the page will not trigger the splash animation.
The plugin implements style customization through code injection and variable overriding without modifying core components. To view the source code or submit feedback, visit the GitHub repository.
