Introduction

The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem is centered on the principle of “everything is a plugin.” When building complex character-interaction scenarios, persona setup, memory management, local security validation, and client-side visual experience usually need to be handled separately. lutisure/cyrene-dsh-plugin is an integrated DSH plugin that bundles the Xi Lian character Agent, client theme, and local security scanning together. The project aims to provide an independently installable solution through an engineering-oriented approach, with “persona stability” as its core goal.

Core Features

The plugin includes three independent but cooperating modules:

  1. Character Agent: Supports long-term memory retention across sessions, speech-style correction, and RAG retrieval. The Agent relies on world-book entries for setting injection, and each conversation turn has budget limits.
  2. Client Theme: Provides visual and audio assets such as wallpapers, music, emojis, and particle effects. Theme configuration is centralized in a THEME object, supporting real-time adjustment of hue, transparency, and glass texture.
  3. Local Security Scanning: Automatically runs rule checks after file writes to detect AI error patterns, hardcoded credentials, and similar issues.

In addition, the plugin includes a built-in three-tier evaluation bench with 349 built-in test cases, supporting deterministic evaluation and grounding verification.

Installation and Enablement

No official CLI installation command has been found at present. Plugin files must be generated through a manual build process.

  1. Clone the repository:

The build process generates the `dist/` directory, which contains the key files required for the plugin to become active.
  1. Configure the Profile:
    Copy the generated files into the corresponding DSH Profile directory. After installation, two new entries, “Xi Lian” and “Xi Lian (R&D),” will appear in the DSH preset list.

Typical Usage

After installation, you can use it in the following ways:

  1. Start a session: When creating a new session, select “Xi Lian” from the preset list.
  2. Invoke the skill: Enter the /cyrene skill in any session.
  3. Adjust the interface: Adjust the wallpaper, hue, transparency, or texture in the “Scene” panel.
  4. Run evaluation: Use the evaluation bench tool to perform tests:
    node tools/eval.mjs --sources

Important Notes:

  • Evaluation rule: The first rule of the evaluation bench is that an empty sample fails immediately; empty samples will not pass evaluation.
  • Asset copyright: The game assets included in the plugin (assets/, music/, GIF/, etc.) are copyrighted by miHoYo / HoYoverse and are for personal use only.
  • Security scanning mechanism: “Xi Lian Guardian” is only responsible for reporting security rule check results and does not intercept write operations. The actual boundary depends on the permission scope and manual confirmation.
  • License scope: The MIT license applies only to the code portion; assets and story text are not covered by the license.
