In the development workflow of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), task management and agent collaboration often require context switching. The dsh-task-todo plugin integrates task management into the DSH interface and provides a set of tools and slash commands, allowing agents to directly read and write task data.

Core Features

  • Multiple Views: Provides four views: List (grouped by date), Kanban (draggable), Calendar (month grid), and Gantt chart (timeline). View switching is available in the sidebar’s “Views” group.
  • Task Management: Supports task details, subtasks (collapsible, with notes), and multiline notes. Supports recurrence (daily/weekly/monthly); completing a task automatically rolls it to the next occurrence.
  • Quick Add: Quickly create tasks using a specific syntax, for example 明天 15:00 交周报 !高 #工作 @紧要. A real-time preview of the recognized result is displayed below the input box.
  • Floating Window Mode: Supports displaying the task list as a draggable and resizable floating window anywhere on the page, making it easy to check tasks while browsing conversations.
  • Agent Collaboration: Provides 6 tools (task_list, task_add, task_update, task_done, task_delete, list_manage) and the /todo slash command. Agents can manage tasks through conversation.

Installation and Configuration

Before installing, ensure that DeepSeek Harness is installed and that the Node version is >= 22.

After installation, restart dsh web for the configuration to take effect.

Plugin configuration is located at “Settings → Plugin → To-do Tasks”:
* Enable: Toggles the plugin on/off.
* Data File: Defaults to <DSH_HOME>/todo/tasks.
* Default List: The list assigned to new tasks when no list is specified.
* Sidebar Badge: Displays the counts for today/overdue/not completed.

Tools and Commands

The plugin provides the following tools for agents:

  • Global Data: Task data is global and is not partitioned by session; data is shared across different conversations.
  • Environment Dependencies: Requires Node >= 22 and the @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools peer dependency.
  • Data Storage: The data file is located at <DSH_HOME>/todo/tasks.
  • When It Takes Effect: Restart dsh web after modifying the configuration.
