When running DeepSeek Harness (DSH) in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), managing Windows power policies (such as the active plan, battery status, or sleep timeouts) usually requires switching to the Windows environment. The dsh-wsl-power plugin eliminates this need by reading these states directly from within WSL.
Plugin Introduction¶
This plugin belongs to the online tools category, is maintained by user 173787247, and is licensed under the MIT License. It allows DSH processes to obtain the current Windows power configuration information from within WSL.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following three core data-reading capabilities:
- active plan: The currently active Windows power plan.
- battery status: The battery level information of the Windows system.
- sleep settings: Configuration details regarding sleep timeouts.
Installation¶
Run the following command in the DSH environment to install it:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-power
Usage¶
After installation, run the following command in the DSH CLI:
win_power
This command outputs the current Windows power status information.
Notes¶
- The plugin reads the active plan by invoking the
powercfgcommand. - The
batteryfield is not available on desktop machines. sleepAcSecondsrepresents the standby timeout when powered by AC; a value of0means “never”.
