Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem is centered on plugins and allows the extension of various tools. dsh-plugin-ide-hub is a workflow plugin designed to address management pain points in multi-IDE environments. When users switch between multiple coding IDEs such as Claude Code, Codex, ZCode, Trae, Qoder, and CatPaw, each tool independently stores sessions, usage statistics, and rule files on local disk. This plugin does not call vendor APIs. Instead, it directly reads these local states from disk, providing a unified entry point to inventory, manage, and export this information.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following commands, covering the full workflow from configuration to usage:
-
/ide-hub
Inventory installed adapters (8 in total) and rule files. It checks whether each tool’s rule file exists and reports installation status. -
/hub-init [directory]
Generate the canonical rule body and pointers for the 8 tools. This command creates rule files in the specified directory and writes pointers into the project rule files of each tool. Writes follow the principle of “not overwriting existing content,” appending only a marked pointer section at the end of the file. -
/hub-usage
Aggregate usage statistics for each tool. For ZCode, it queries the local SQLite database to calculate totals, turn counts, cache hit rate, and so on; for Claude and Codex, it performs transcript-based aggregation. -
/hub-sessions
List recent sessions and provide one-click restore commands. Supports restoring sessions for Claude Code, Codex, ZCode, and DSH itself. -
/today
Sort today’s items based on blockers, budget, and task priority, helping determine which work should be prioritized. -
/hub-migrate
Create a quota migration plan. Based on configured remaining quota and priorities, calculate the depletion countdown for each tool and provide quota migration recommendations. -
/hub-export
Export the inventory results and rule files as Obsidian notes, generating anIDE-Hub/subtree structure.
Installation and Activation¶
The installation process includes three steps:
- Install the plugin package.
- Restart
dsh. - Verify that the configuration has taken effect.
# 1. Install the plugin
dsh plugin --profile web add github:121212165/dsh-plugin-ide-hub
# 2. Restart dsh
# 3. Verify the mount
dsh --profile web --dump-config | grep dsh-plugin-ide-hub
After installation, the plugin is mounted automatically. Core commands such as /hub-init and /today can be used directly.
Typical Usage¶
After installing and restarting dsh, perform operations with the following commands:
# Check adapter and rule file inventory
/ide-hub
# Initialize or update rule files (specify the project directory)
/hub-init [project directory]
# View today's priority ranking
/today
Known Limitations¶
Because the plugin only reads files from disk and vendor implementations differ, the following limitations exist:
- Trae sessions are not visible: Trae sessions currently cannot be displayed in
/hub-sessions;/ide-hubcan only inventory their installed status. - Trae chat reading limitation: In v0.4, Trae chat reading has not been revalidated via live mount in a running
dshinstance. - Path dependency: The storage paths for domestic IDEs such as CatPaw and Qoder change across versions. The plugin cannot predict the exact paths for all versions, and if a path cannot be read, it is shown as “not installed” in the inventory.
- Read/write safety: The plugin only writes rule pointers to the specified project directory and does not overwrite existing content; on uninstall, it only removes the pointer sections it added and will not alter the original files.
