Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts an “everything is a plugin” architecture. In agent development and system debugging, mapping model architectures, training pipelines, or paper workflows often requires manual diagramming, which is inefficient. dsh-facet solves this problem. As a plugin, it lets users directly convert any text or link into a structured diagram within a conversation.
Plugin Positioning¶
DeepSeek Harness plugin: Facet — any content in, structured diagram out.
- Maintainer: wobenshiwomu
- Category: Workflow
- License: MIT
Core Features¶
- Any content in, structured diagram out: Input any content and output a structured diagram.
- One sentence → a set of diagrams: Supports generating model architectures, RL/Agent training pipelines, offensive/defensive red-blue relationships, paper workflows, etc.
- Automatic recognition: Automatically recognizes the content type and selects the corresponding template.
- View vocabulary: Supports
diagram(2D structure chart),tower(3D layer tower),network(3D relationship network),flow(pipeline flow), andtimeline(timeline). - Floating window interaction: After the diagram is generated, the UI automatically pops up a floating window to display it.
- Style rule: Fixed 10-color palette to ensure visual consistency.
- Single-file HTML: All views are single-file HTML artifacts.
Installation and Enabling¶
Install the plugin using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add 'https://codeload.github.com/wobenshiwomu/dsh-facet/tar.gz/v0.2.0'
After installation, restart DeepSeek Harness to activate the plugin.
Typical Usage¶
Enter the following commands in any conversation:
/visualize Qwen3-0.6B
/visualize https://arxiv.org/abs/2407.21783
/visualize 把 GRPO 的训练流程画出来
Execution process:
1. The main agent conducts research (prefers close reading for arXiv links; otherwise uses search).
2. Returns a one-line summary, informing that N diagrams (kind1 + kind2) will be generated and their sources.
3. Dispatches independent sub-agents for each view to generate HTML files in parallel.
4. The floating window pops up automatically, and the reply also provides direct links for each view.
Direct link format examples:
- http://127.0.0.1:3080/dsh-facet/<slug>/tower.html
Notes¶
- Floating window mechanism: The floating window is triggered by live events. It will not be automatically restored after a page refresh; use the direct links in the reply to reopen it.
- Computational cost: A single
/visualizecall includes 1 round of research + N sub-agents (N is the number of views for the mode, 1–3), triggered on demand. - 3D view dependency: 3D views depend on three.js from the jsdelivr CDN; the first open requires internet access.
- Configuration: The plugin supports optional configuration and works out of the box by default.
Conclusion¶
dsh-facet lowers the barrier to visualizing complex systems by converting natural language into structured diagrams. It not only provides immediate visual feedback but also ensures the shareability and consistency of the output through single-file HTML and a strict style rule.
