DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture and supports extending functionality through plugins. During development or use, you often need to set timed reminders or continue sending messages after the current conversation ends. The dsh-later plugin solves this problem: it enables scheduled sending, timed reminders, and delayed sending in DSH.

Core Role

This plugin adds scheduling capabilities to DSH: users can enter a message, set a time, and after the time elapses, it will automatically be sent as the user, or displayed in the conversation as a reminder message. Even if the web page is closed, the server will trigger it on time.

Installation and Activation

Install it using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-later

After installation, restart the Web service to take effect.

Key Features

  • /later delayed sending: Type a line in the input box, and at the specified time it will send that content as you.
  • /schedule timed reminder: After setting a time, a reminder line is displayed in the conversation at the scheduled time.
  • Scheduling panel: There is a “Scheduled Send” button on the right side of the input box, supporting quick chips (e.g., 10 minutes later, 1 hour later), custom times, send preview, task list, and cancel all.
  • Sidebar status indicator: Conversations with active reminders display a pixel clock in the sidebar. Purple indicates scheduled, amber indicates triggered within 5 minutes, and red indicates due.
  • Triggers even when the web page is closed: Reminders are stored on the server, so they arrive on time even if you switch devices or close the web page.
  • Multilingual: Follows the DSH interface language.

Notes

  • The default limit for reminder content is 1000 characters.
  • When using the multiple-entry syntax, up to 10 entries are allowed, and intervals must be at least 60 seconds.
  • Reminders do not apply across conversations; child conversations derived from the current conversation do not inherit the parent conversation’s reminders.
  • At the scheduled time, it is displayed as a “Timed Reminder” message, rather than pretending to be sent by you.
