Introduction

In DeepSeek Harness (DSH), when configuring a role persona, a common approach is to write the persona into personaPrefix. This causes the persona to be combined with fixed opening remarks, tool specifications, and coding-agent behavior guidelines. As a result, the character voice can easily be drowned out, and the model may break character and say, “Is there anything I can help you with?”

The dsh-cyrene plugin uses the complete: true setting of dsh-persona to replace the entire system prompt with the role persona. This eliminates competition from other layers and makes the character the sole system instruction.

Core Features

This plugin provides two presets that share the same long-term memory and web search capabilities.

  • Plain Text Conversation Mode

    • Replaces the entire system prompt and conducts conversations purely through the character’s personality.
    • Does not mount coding or operation-oriented features such as files, Shell, or device tools.
    • Retains only web search and sticker packs.

  • Cyrene Work Mode

    • Also replaces the entire system prompt.
    • Mounts the full toolset (file read/write, Shell, planning, goals, subagents, workflow).
    • Maintains the character identity and speaking style while performing tasks.

  • Shared Resources

    • Long-term memory: Shares cyrene-memory.md and supports remember / forget commands.
    • Web search: Retains @deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-web.
    • World book: Ships with 61 settings and injects them automatically by trigger words.

Installation and Enablement

Installing the plugin and presets requires two steps.

1. Install the Plugin Main Body

Use the official DSH plugin installation command.

dsh plugin --profile <你的 profile> add dsh-cyrene

2. Install Presets

DSH currently does not provide an API for installing presets, so preset files must be copied manually.

3. Enable the Mode

When creating a new conversation, select “Plain Text Conversation Mode” or “Cyrene Work Mode” in the preset selector.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes

  • Non-commercial use: This project is an unofficial fan-made work. The character IP belongs to HoYoverse/miHoYo and is limited to non-commercial use.
  • Resource note: The plugin does not include Live2D models, standing portraits, artistic assets, or audio.
  • Sticker packs: If you need the sticker pack feature, you must separately install the dsh-meme plugin.
  • Work mode limitation: Due to workflowEngine compatibility issues, the work mode disables the workflow / ralph tools by default.
