DeepSeek Harness provides plugin extension capabilities. dsh-prompt-market is a “memory” type plugin. It does not rely on a backend, stores data locally, and is mainly used to solve the problems of scattered prompts and difficulty finding them. Inside the chat interface, you can browse, search, and directly insert the selected prompt into the input field via a floating panel.

Installation

Install it using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile desktop add dsh-prompt-market

After installation, a “Prompt Import” button appears on the left side of the input field.

Features

This plugin mainly provides the following capabilities:

  • Browse and Search: Supports browsing built-in sources (such as f/prompts.chat, ChatGPT-Shortcut, etc.) and searching by title, description, body, and tags.
  • Favorites Management: Supports favoriting frequently used prompts. Favorites are accessed on a separate page for quick retrieval.
  • Source Management: Manages data source connectivity and caching, and supports adding custom sources that return a JSON array.
  • Content Filtering: By default, blocks jailbreak and adult roleplay entries, and supports custom blockwords.
  • Import and Export: Supports exporting favorites, custom prompts, tags, and overall settings as a JSON file for easy migration to another device.
  • Language Switching: By default, inserts the Chinese description (description). In Source Management, you can switch to inserting the original English text (prompt).

Usage Flow

  1. Click “Prompt Import” on the left side of the input field.
  2. On the “Market” tab, search for the scenario you need, such as “Writing,” “Translation,” or “Code Review.”
  3. Click “Insert” on the right side of an entry, and the text will be placed into the input field.
  4. Add details as needed based on the current task, then send.
  5. For frequently used prompts, click “Favorite” and next time retrieve them directly from the “Favorites” tab.
  6. To create your own prompts, go to the “My” tab, create a new prompt, and save it.

Notes

  • Runtime Environment: Does not depend on Node at runtime.
  • Data Storage: Data is stored only locally (localStorage), is not uploaded, and is not written to disk. Uninstalling does not automatically clear the data. You need to delete the localStorage key via developer tools.
  • API Limitations: InputActions only provides captureInsertion / insertText / setDraft. It cannot clear the draft or set a selection range, and cannot actively replace the entire text. If you need to replace the entire text, you must first manually select all draft content with Ctrl+A, then click “Replace.”
