Introduction¶
The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” Developers can extend an agent’s capabilities by writing plugins. In practice, however, integrating DSH logic directly into Lark workflows usually requires additional development work. The dsh-lark-claw plugin solves this problem by providing a gateway that allows DSH to run directly as a Lark bot, turning local or server-side agent capabilities into a personal assistant inside the messaging tool.
Plugin Overview¶
This plugin is maintained by developer Illuminated2020 and is a standalone Lark gateway and persistent cron package. Its core value lies in connecting the DeepSeek Harness runtime environment with the Lark ecosystem, allowing users to use the agent within the chat interface to handle tasks, analyze files, and manage schedules without switching apps.
Core Features¶
The plugin mainly provides the following capabilities:
1. Continuous conversation: It preserves the context for each topic and can continue a previous conversation after the service restarts.
2. Real-time progress: It displays response status and tool activity in Lark cards in real time.
3. Image and file processing: It supports understanding screenshot content or analyzing and summarizing replied files.
4. Scheduled tasks: It supports setting one-time reminders or recurring scheduled tasks via natural language.
5. Approvals and questions: When an operation requires permission, a card is presented for the user to approve or answer a question.
Installation and Enablement¶
Before installation, ensure the environment meets the following requirements:
* The DeepSeek Harness version must be 0.1.2-rc.1 or higher.
* The Node.js version must be ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0.
* pnpm must be installed.
Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile feishu add dsh-lark-claw
After installation, configure the App ID and App Secret in the Lark Developer Console, and enable the bot capability, long-lived connection event subscription, and required permissions (such as im:message.group_msg). After configuration, start the service to use it:
dsh --profile feishu
Typical Usage¶
- Task analysis: Send the message
Analyze the project and explain how to run itin Lark. The bot will show progress and results as a card. You can continue asking follow-up questions about the task by replying in the same topic. - File processing: Send an image or file with an instruction (for example,
Summarize this file). The bot will parse the content and return the result. Supported file formats depend on the tools currently available to the Agent. - Setting reminders: Send
Check project progress every Monday morning, and the bot will parse it as a scheduled task. - Task control: Use the
/stopcommand to stop the current task, or use/resetto reset the conversation state of the current topic.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios that require direct access to DSH agent capabilities within the Lark environment.
Notes:
* Permission configuration: You must configure the App ID and App Secret in the Lark Developer Console and enable the bot capability, long-lived connection event subscription, and specific permissions.
* Service running: Scheduled tasks are only effective while the service is running. If the service stops, configured scheduled tasks will not run automatically.
* File support: Image and file processing capabilities depend on the tools available to the Agent, and not all formats are supported.
* License: The plugin is licensed under the MIT license.
Summary¶
With dsh-lark-claw, developers can seamlessly connect the DSH logic layer to Lark, eliminating the need for manual forwarding or developing a standalone gateway. For more details, refer to the official directory or the source repository.
