In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem, extending skill invocation usually requires modifying the Harness source code. The dsh-at-skill plugin provides an alternative that doesn’t require touching core Harness code, allowing skills to be triggered by entering @ in the conversation composer.
This is a standalone client plugin intended to trigger skill invocation via @name and provide skill suggestions in the composer. It is maintained by user 452926826.
Core Features¶
- Trigger skill invocation via
@name - Show skill suggestions in the composer
- Add skills without modifying Harness source code
- Load skills before the model step
- Compatible with existing
/skill-name,@subagent, and@pluginbehavior
Installation and Enablement¶
- Run the following command to install:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:452926826/dsh-at-skill
- After installation,
dsh webmust be restarted.
Typical Usage¶
- Enter
@in the conversation composer to list all available user-callable skills in the current session. - Continue typing characters; the candidate list is filtered by skill name prefix.
- After selecting a candidate,
@skill-nameis inserted. - Submit a
@skill-nametoken bounded by a space or newline to load and execute the skill before the model step.
Use Cases and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for users who want to extend skill invocation through simple text input while keeping the DSH source code clean. Note the following two points:
- Invocation mechanism: The plugin’s invocation is text-based. If a Skill, Subagent, or Plugin shares the same
@name, the submitted text does not carry source identity, and the matching user-callable Skill will be loaded by the plugin. - Activation timing: After installation,
dsh webmust be restarted for changes to take effect.
