Introduction¶
The core philosophy of DSH is “everything is a plugin.” When managing multiple LLM gateways, you usually need to directly edit the llm-pi-ai.providers configuration in settings.yaml. dsh-provider-hub provides a visual solution, allowing you to configure and manage gateways through a card-based console (Provider Hub), without manually maintaining YAML files.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-provider-hub is a DSH LLM provider hub plugin. It provides a card-based console through the Provider Hub panel in the DSH left sidebar, used to configure any number of gateways. Gateway configuration is stored in the llm-provider-hub settings namespace, and the configuration is preserved after reinstalling the plugin.
Core Features¶
- Card-Based Console: Configure gateways in the Provider Hub panel of the DSH left sidebar; the interface is intuitive and easy to operate.
- Protocol Support: Supports OpenAI / Anthropic compatible protocols.
- Model Catalog: Built-in popular model directory (GLM / Claude / GPT / Qwen / DeepSeek / Kimi / Gemini). Once enabled, the models appear directly in the DSH model selector.
- User-Agent Management: Supports custom User-Agent values, allowing attribution headers to be bypassed. Multiple gateways can simultaneously connect to multiple UA-whitelisted gateways.
Installation and Enablement¶
- Install Dependencies: Make sure pnpm is installed in the environment (
npm install -g pnpm). - Run the Installation Command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:tappat225/dsh-provider-hub
*Note: Please replace `--profile web` with the profile you are actually using (use `desktop` for the desktop version).*
- Restart DSH: After installation is complete, restart DSH. The Provider Hub entry will appear above the settings button in the left sidebar.
Typical Usage¶
- Open DSH and click Provider Hub in the left sidebar.
- Add a gateway in the panel, enter the gateway address and API Key, and set the protocol type and custom User-Agent.
- Enable the built-in model catalog; the model list updates automatically without manual configuration.
- Multiple gateways can run at the same time, each using a different User-Agent.
Notes¶
- Environment Requirement: A pnpm environment is required.
- Restart Mechanism: After installing or uninstalling the plugin, you must restart DSH for changes to take effect.
- Configuration Persistence: Gateway configuration is stored in the
llm-provider-hubsettings namespace, and the configuration is preserved after reinstalling the plugin. - Runtime Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
Conclusion¶
This plugin simplifies the multi-gateway management workflow and is well suited to scenarios that require connecting to different protocols simultaneously or customizing User-Agent values. For more details, see SkillHub or GitHub.
