Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts an “everything is a plugin” architecture and supports feature extension through plugins. When building complex agent workflows, developers often need to integrate multiple capabilities, such as email sending and receiving, calendar management, media creation, or development and operations. Manually installing and configuring these plugins one by one is not only cumbersome, but also makes it difficult to guarantee version compatibility across components.

The dsh-suite plugin provides a centralized solution. It bundles 18 commonly used DSH plugins and combines their default configurations in a single installation. This helps pin component versions in team collaboration and makes environments easier to reproduce.

Core Features

dsh-suite covers the main working scenarios for agent development:

  • Coverage areas: Including email, calendar, memory, media creation, development and operations, and message notifications.
  • Component list: Includes 18 standalone plugins such as Docker, Dream, Calendar, Email, PPT, RSS, Slack, SQL, and Voice.
  • Version management: Pins component versions for reproducible installation and shared loading checks.
  • Flexible configuration: Individual components can also be installed and configured separately, without requiring the Suite package.

Installation and Enablement

After ensuring that the dsh command is correctly configured on the system, you can install it by following these steps:

  1. Desktop profile installation:
dsh plugin --profile desktop add @stardustlc/dsh-suite
  1. Web profile installation:
dsh plugin --profile web add @stardustlc/dsh-suite
  1. After installation is complete, restart the DSH service.

Typical Usage

  • Use the full feature set: When you need to enable multiple capabilities such as email, calendar, and development tools, install this package and then configure the accounts and tool parameters for the required components.
  • Use partial features: If you only need one or a few specific features (for example, email only or PPT only), you can directly install the corresponding standalone plugin without loading the entire Suite.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes

  • Profile mechanism: After installation, the profile enables only the Suite layer, which is responsible for loading components. The account configuration, external program dependencies, and network requirements of individual components still need to be configured separately.
  • Version synchronization: This version syncs the Dream plugin to 0.9.0, with features such as post-idle merge and cleanup, recoverable deferred queue, independent chat control, batch review, and fact expiration review.
  • Language and runtime environment:
    • Each workspace follows the host language, while user content is preserved in its original language.
    • When developing independently from source code, the Node.js version requirement is governed by package.json.
    • The required Node.js version is: ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0.
  • Permissions: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process. It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.

Summary

By providing unified management and version pinning, dsh-suite reduces the integration cost of DSH plugins. For detailed configuration, tool parameters, or issue feedback, visit the project catalog page or GitHub repository.
