Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides interfaces for connecting to models from multiple service providers, but upstream model lists are updated irregularly. Manually checking and adding new models is easy to overlook. This plugin monitors the latest models provided by each service provider, lists newly added items, and supports writing selected items into the configuration after checking them.

Features

This plugin provides the following capabilities:

  1. Update check (read-only): Retrieves /models from upstream providers, lists only newly added models, and does not modify the configuration.
  2. Selectively add models: Lists newly added models by Provider, supports selecting all or individual models, and writes selected models into DSH settings after clicking “Add Selected”.
  3. Search and filtering: Supports filtering by model ID or name, and supports selecting all/clearing the current filtered results.
  4. Automatic multi-protocol placement: Providers with mixed protocols are automatically split into the main route and protocol-based synthesized routes.
  5. Automatic OpenCode session header: Automatically attaches the x-opencode-session header for OpenCode routes when making requests.
  6. Backup before writing: Automatically backs up settings.yaml before each write, keeping the most recent 20 backups.
  7. Management switch: Each Provider can be individually enabled or disabled for checking.

Installation and Enablement

Prerequisites: DSH Desktop or CLI is installed, and the profile directory can be managed by pnpm.

Installation command:

After installation, restart DSH (the plugin is loaded at startup). If dsh reports that pnpm is not found, ensure that pnpm is available in the PATH.

Usage

In the DSH interface:

  1. Open Settings -> Model Updates.
  2. Click “Check Updates” to retrieve the upstream list (read-only, does not write configuration).
  3. Click “Select models to add” for a Provider to expand the list, use the search box to narrow the scope, and select models.
  4. Click “Add Selected”, then the models can be used in the native “Models” settings and session model selector.

Command-line usage can also be performed inside a conversation:

/model-sync check    # 重新检查并输出各 Provider 新增模型数量（只读）
/model-sync status   # 查看上次检查/添加结果

Notes

  • Permissions and security: The checking stage is a read-only operation; it does not modify settings or read credentials. Adding operations must be explicitly clicked, and no models are added automatically at startup. All writes are validated against the DSH schema, and invalid configurations are rejected.
  • Data safety: The plugin backs up settings.yaml before writing.
  • Compatibility: Compatible with DSH kernel 0.1.2-rc.1 and 0.2.0-rc.2.
