dsh-ui-liteglass (codename LiteGlass) is an appearance skin plugin maintained by user mumuer1024, categorized as “playful reskins”. It is developed based on the official theme.overrideTokens interface in DeepSeek Harness and follows the MIT License.

Core Features

LiteGlass’s design goal is to remain simple and focused, providing only basic visual enhancements:

  1. Custom Wallpaper: Supports setting a remote image URL or uploading a local image, and allows adjusting background opacity and blur through configuration.
  2. Glass-like Panels: Provides panel opacity adjustment, giving the main interface a translucent glass-like visual effect.
  3. Accent Color: Customizes accent colors in the interface; this color automatically adapts to DSH’s native light and dark modes.
  4. Server-side Persistence and Multi-device Support: Settings and wallpaper files are stored on the DSH host, and multiple devices connected to the same host share the appearance configuration.
  5. No Secondary Theme System: Does not introduce additional CSS frameworks or competing theme models. It is built entirely on the official interface and does not affect native DSH functionality.

Installation and Activation

  1. Install using the official plugin command:
    dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-ui-liteglass

This command automatically initializes the Web UI configuration file and binds the plugin package.

  2. Open the Settings -> Appearance page, and you can see the configuration options provided by the plugin.

Typical Usage

Configure the following in Settings -> Appearance:

  • Background: Select Off, Remote URL, or Local Upload, and adjust background opacity and blur.
  • Panel Transparency: Adjust the opacity of the main interface.
  • Accent Color: Select a custom color or reset it to the native value.

All changes are saved to the server in real time, and all devices accessing this host will display the current appearance synchronously.

  • Known Limitations:
    • Panel blur (backdrop-filter) is currently disabled to avoid breaking the positioning of settings or overlay layers.
    • The interface mode (Light/Dark/System) is always controlled by DSH native settings; this plugin only enhances the appearance.
  • Compatibility: Currently supports only the DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc series versions (such as 0.1.0-rc.7 and 0.1.0-rc.8).
