Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture. As usage increases, managing sessions from different sources (DSH native, Claude Code, Codex) can become messy. This plugin aims to provide a unified entry point for session management and supports importing third-party sessions into DSH for continued chat and management.

Plugin Positioning

Core Features

Unified Session Management

The DSH settings page provides a cross-source (DSH / Claude Code / Codex) session list, search, preview, open for continued chat, archive/unarchive, delete and bulk cleanup, and statistics.

Third-Party Session Import

Supports converting local historical sessions from Claude Code and Codex into fully preserved, resumable native DSH sessions. The conversion process preserves text, thinking, tool calls, and results, and does not fabricate executable tools.

Safety Baseline

  • Read-only protection: Third-party source files are always read-only; importing does not modify original files.
  • Runtime protection: Running sessions are always rejected for deletion.
  • Irreversible operations: Deletion is explicitly irreversible (bulk cleanup requires typing DELETE to confirm).
  • Preview mechanism: Cleanup always previews before execution.

Installation and Enablement

The plugin can be installed via npm or GitHub. After installation, refresh the DSH web interface to load the new configuration layer.

dsh plugin --profile web add @nathan110628/dsh-session-management
dsh --profile web --dump-config   # should see the "# == @nathan110628/dsh-session-management" layer
dsh web

Install from GitHub

dsh plugin --profile web add github:AndyWipe13/dsh-session-management

Uninstall the Plugin

dsh plugin --profile web remove @nathan110628/dsh-session-management

Notes

  • The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process; before installing, review the source code and license (BSD-3-Clause).
  • Operations involve session deletion; ensure that you understand its irreversibility.

Summary
