Preface

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture, allowing users to extend its functionality. When developing with the DeepSeek API or having everyday conversations, it is essential to monitor Token consumption, costs, and account balance in real time. DSH DeepSeek Monitor, as a DSH client plugin, provides a visualization panel directly in the conversation interface and supports more accurate usage statistics through a local proxy.

Plugin Positioning

This is a DSH plugin maintained by moyuer233, mainly used for monitoring DeepSeek usage. It displays usage data, which is normally scattered in the background, as panels in the session header and sidebar, supports drag-and-drop reordering, and provides an optional local usage proxy for precise accounting of sub-agents (such as Claude Code).

Core Features

  1. Real-Time Data Panel: Displays balance, daily Token / monthly Token / total Token volume, and the corresponding daily cost / monthly cost / total cost in a horizontal row in the session header. A vertical display is also provided at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Drag-and-Drop Reordering: Long-press a display block to drag and reorder it, adjusting the panel layout in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get manner.
  3. Local Usage Proxy: Provides an optional local proxy feature that intercepts requests over the Anthropic-compatible protocol and supplies accurate Token and cost accounting for sub-agents.
  4. API Key Filtering: Supports switching between “All Keys” or a specific Key in the panel to view usage data for a particular Key.
  5. Balance Alerts: When the balance falls below a threshold, it shows a reminder and redirects to the platform recharge page.
  6. Dual-Channel Persistence: Configurations are saved in localStorage and the host config, ensuring data persistence.
  7. Auto Refresh: The page refreshes usage data every 60 seconds and automatically pauses when hidden to save resources.
  8. Token Retrieval Tools: Supports obtaining the platform Token via a browser bookmark, console code, or pasting in the panel.

Installation and Activation

Use the DSH command-line tool to install:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-deepseek-monitor-moyuer233

Or install directly from GitHub:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:moyuer233/dsh-deepseek-monitor

After installation, restart the DSH client to load the plugin.

Typical Usage

  • Configuring the Panel: After installation, open the DSH configuration panel. You can switch the interface language (Chinese/English) or switch between “All Keys” and a specific Key.
  • Token Retrieval: In the “Platform Token” section of the configuration panel, click the “Get Token” link and drag it to your browser bookmarks bar. After logging in to the platform page, click the bookmark to copy the Token in one click and paste it back into the panel to save.

Notes

  • Interface Source: The plugin uses internal Web interfaces of platform.deepseek.com (not a public contract) and is intended for personal use only. If DeepSeek changes the interface structure, lib/platform.mjs must be updated accordingly.
  • Proxy Statistics Scope: The local usage proxy only counts requests that pass through it. Traffic that accesses DeepSeek directly is not counted.
  • Sub-Agent Limitations: Sub-agents run one-shot, and monitoring granularity is at the request level.
