Introduction

When developing agents or having routine conversations in DeepSeek Harness (DSH), it is often necessary to access real-time financial data to support decision-making. The common approach is to open a browser and switch pages, which interrupts the conversation flow. The dsh-xueqiu plugin aims to solve this fragmentation issue. It integrates Xueqiu’s data panel into DSH’s chat interface through an embedded design, providing login-free market data for A-shares, HK stocks, and US stocks.

Plugin Overview

dsh-xueqiu is an online tool plugin running on the DeepSeek Harness web client, maintained by developer wanderer-yk. It calls Xueqiu public APIs to provide users with real-time market data, candlestick charts, intraday charts, trending lists, flash news, and popular discussion users. The plugin uses the MIT open-source license, supports local persistent storage of watchlists, and offers a Cookie login option to sync cloud data.

Core Features

The core capabilities of the plugin focus on data visualization and interactive experience:

  1. Real-time market data and charts: Supports displaying broad market indices (SSE, SZSE, ChiNext, STAR 50) and watchlist stocks, with color coding and sorting for gains and losses. Candlestick charts are based on the KLineChart v10 engine and support MA moving averages, 7 period levels (from 5-minute to monthly K-line), zooming and panning; intraday charts include an area price line, average price line, and previous close baseline dashed line.
  2. Community data integration: Provides Xueqiu trending lists (with switching among A-shares, US stocks, HK stocks, and global markets), 7×24 real-time flash news (with important news highlighted), and trending KOLs for individual stocks (including follower counts and verification badges).
  3. Embedded panel: The main panel docks above the input box without covering the conversation history. A persistent market area in the lower-right corner displays the four major indices and the first 12 watchlist stocks, supporting drag-to-adjust position and width (120-480px).
  4. Adaptive behavior and safeguards: Panel height is adjustable (160px–85% of the viewport), and it follows DSH’s light/dark themes. Built-in request protection includes a concurrency gate, watchdog (30s timeout release), TTL caching, and Cookie self-healing.
  5. Agent tool integration: Provides six Agent tools (xueqiu_quote, xueqiu_kline, xueqiu_search, xueqiu_hot, xueqiu_news, xueqiu_kol) that can be invoked directly in a conversation and return card-based results.

Installation and Enabling

Install the plugin using DSH’s command-line tool:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-xueqiu

After installation, restart the dsh web process to load the plugin. After refreshing the page, the panel will automatically appear above the conversation input box.

Typical Usage

After installing and enabling the plugin, you can perform the following operations:

  1. Panel control: The panel is docked above the input box by default. Click the collapse button on the panel or press Esc to collapse it. Click the market area in the lower-right corner or the bottom index bar to expand it again.
  2. Layout adjustment: Drag the edge handle of the lower-right market area to adjust its width (120-480px); double-click to reset. Drag the handle at the bottom of the panel to adjust the panel height (160px–85% of the viewport).
  3. View details: Click a watchlist stock, index card, or trending list item to open a detail panel, showing 16 market data fields, candlestick/intraday charts, financial metrics, and trending users.
  4. Cloud login: Click the “Login” button in the top-right corner of the panel. Copy the Cookie from your browser and paste it. The Cookie is stored only in the local ~/.dsh workspace and is not uploaded. After logging in, you can choose to use Xueqiu’s cloud watchlist (automatically synced every 10 minutes).
  5. Agent invocation: Ask directly in the conversation, such as “Query the real-time quote for Kweichow Moutai” or “Get the candlestick chart for CATL,” and the Agent will call the corresponding tool and render the result.
