Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) relies on plugins to extend its capabilities. Connecting to Feishu / Feishu OpenAPI usually requires a reverse proxy or a public IP. The dsh-feishu-mcp plugin solves this issue by using the official MCP server.

Plugin Overview

This is an online tool plugin maintained by zhengjy01. It connects DSH to Feishu through the official @larksuiteoapi/lark-mcp server. The plugin runs the official server as a subprocess and registers the available tools in the agent under the names mcp__feishu__*.

Core Features

  • Official MCP Server: Uses stdio to run the official server, eliminating the need for a reverse proxy or public IP.
  • Full Tool Coverage: Registers the official server’s tools as mcp__feishu__*.
  • Identity Configuration: Supports app identity (appId/appSecret) or user identity (userAccessToken).
  • Agent Tools: Provides feishu_status, feishu_config, feishu_test, and feishu_tools.
  • Web Settings Panel: Configure credentials and test the connection in settings.

Installation and Enablement

Run the following command in the command line:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-feishu-mcp

Configuration

After installation, configure credentials via the Web settings panel (Settings -> Feishu) or Agent tools.

Configure App Identity:

feishu_config appId=<cli_xxx> appSecret=<your_secret>

Configure User Identity (Optional):

feishu_config userAccessToken=<user_access_token>

Usage

After configuration is complete, the Agent displays Feishu tools as mcp__feishu__*. Use the following command to verify the connection:

feishu_test

Notes

  • DSH Version Requirement: Requires DeepSeek Harness ≥ 0.1.5-rc.1 (verified on 0.1.5-rc.1, compatible with 0.2.0-rc.2).
  • Prerequisites:
    • Create a custom app on the Feishu Open Platform.
    • Grant specific permissions to the app (for example im:message, bitable:app, docx:document, calendar:calendar, drive:drive).
    • Publish an app version.
  • Runtime Mechanism: The plugin runs the official MCP server via stdio, so it operates with the permissions of the current DSH process.

Conclusion

This plugin provides DSH with a standardized way to integrate Feishu, without requiring complex network configuration. For more information, see the GitHub repository.
