Preface

The default interface of DeepSeek Harness Web UI is rather plain. If you need to adjust the visual style for long-term use or personalized needs, you can use theme plugins. The Sakura-Afternoon plugin is one such tool; it provides DSH Web UI with a pastel skin based on a slice-of-life visual novel aesthetic.

Plugin Overview

Sakura-Afternoon is a DSH Web UI skin plugin maintained by zampie. By overriding the default token configuration and style layers, it transforms the interface into a delicate cherry-blossom color scheme, creating an atmosphere similar to a visual novel opening.

Core Features

The plugin mainly includes the following feature modules:

  • Sakura palette (dual themes)
Provides light and dark cherry-blossom palettes. Regardless of the current system or built-in theme mode, the plugin redraws it with a warm soft pink background, pink accents, and rose-colored borders.

  • Falling petals + vignette
Uses the shell.overlay layer to implement a full-screen overlay effect. Eighteen translucent petals fall across the screen, and a soft pink vignette is layered at the screen edges.

  • Header petal toggle
Displays a small ❀ button in the conversation header toolbar, used to manually pause or resume the falling petal effect.

  • Settings master switch
Adds a “🌸 Sakura-Afternoon · Galgame skin” entry in Settings -> General under the main menu. This switch can be used to enable or disable the entire skin.

  • Persistence
All switch states (petal toggle, master switch) are enabled by default and saved in the browser’s localStorage.

  • Clean disposal
When the plugin is stopped or uninstalled, the system fully cleans up all layers, including token overrides, stylesheets, and UI entry items, ensuring a return to the default appearance.

Installation and Enablement

Installing this plugin requires DSH command-line tools.

  1. Run the installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add sakura-afternoon-skin
  1. Restart dsh web.
After installation, dsh web must be restarted (or the plugin marketplace must automatically restart it) to load the new resource package.

  2. Enable the skin.
Enable it in the interface using either of the following methods:
    * Click the ❀ button in the header toolbar.
    * Go to Settings -> General -> “🌸 Sakura-Afternoon · Galgame skin” and toggle it.

Notes

  • Restart required: Be sure to restart dsh web after installation to load the resource package.
  • State persistence: Plugin states are enabled by default and saved in localStorage.
  • Uninstall cleanup: After stopping or uninstalling the plugin, all style overrides and UI entries are removed, restoring the default appearance.
