Preface¶
The plugin ecosystem of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) modularizes various model inference capabilities. When developing intelligent agents or building chat applications, integrating license plate recognition by calling external APIs directly often involves cumbersome authentication and data format conversion. The plugin introduced below is xby-plate-recognition, maintained by xby-skill. It encapsulates the recognition logic and enables DSH to handle license plate-related tasks directly.
Plugin Overview¶
xby-plate-recognition is a DSH plugin for model inference. It can recognize license plate numbers, plate colors, single/double plate types, and returns bounding box information.
Installation and Activation¶
Add the plugin to your current DSH environment using the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:xby_skill/xby-plate-recognition
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following feature APIs:
-
set_xby_apikey
Sets the API key in the chat context. The key is automatically persisted and remains valid after the DSH process is restarted. -
plate_recognition
Recognizes license plate numbers, plate colors, single/double plates, and bounding boxes.
Requires an image file link. -
plate_recognition_for_data_base64
Recognizes license plate numbers, plate colors, single/double plates, and bounding boxes.
Requires the BASE64 encoding of the image file. -
plate_recognition_for_data_file
Recognizes license plate numbers, plate colors, single/double plates, and bounding boxes.
Requires the file path of the image file.
Notes¶
Before use, you must register on the official Xiaobenyang website and obtain an API key. Before calling any recognition feature, be sure to execute set_xby_apikey to set the key. This plugin is licensed under the MIT License.
Conclusion¶
This plugin provides DSH users with standardized license plate recognition capabilities. For more details, see the Plugin Directory or the GitHub repository.
