DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides plugin-based extension capabilities. When an agent needs to handle Magic: The Gathering-related data, hard-coding a database directly is neither flexible nor easy to maintain. xby-gathering-card-lookup-service solves this problem. It is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server dedicated to querying and searching Chinese-language Magic card information.

Configuration and Usage

  1. Get Key: Visit the Xiaobenyang official website, register, and obtain an API key.
  2. Set Key: In the DSH chat, use the set_xby_apikey feature to set the key.
  3. Search Examples:
    * t:creature c:r (red creature)
    * pow>=5 or mv<2 (power >= 5 or mana value < 2)
    * o:"draw a card" -c:u (non-blue cards containing “draw a card”)
  4. Parameter Notes:
    * Paging: page (page number, default 1), page_size (items per page, default 20, maximum 100)
    * Sorting: order (field names, comma-separated). The prefix - indicates descending order (e.g., name,-mv)
    * Other: unique (deduplication mode), priority_chinese (prioritize Chinese)

Notes

  • The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process.
  • It is recommended to check the GitHub source code and license (MIT) before installing.
  • The API key must be obtained from the Xiaobenyang official website.
