Introduction¶
In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem, plugins are the primary way to extend agent capabilities. For scenarios that require combining health data or specific computational models, hard-coding the logic directly in code is often not flexible enough. The following section introduces xby-biomarker-ranges, a service plugin for calculating biological age.
Plugin Purpose¶
This is a model inference plugin maintained by xby-skill. It is based on the Morgan Levine PhenoAge clock model, calculating biological age from blood biomarkers and providing reference range queries for related biomarkers.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following core capabilities:
set_xby_apikey: Set the API key in a chat session. The operation is automatically persisted and remains valid after restarting the process.calculate_phenoage: Calculate biological age from blood biomarkers using the PhenoAge clock model.get_biomarker_ranges: Retrieve the reference ranges and optimal values for PhenoAge-related biomarkers.
Installation and Activation¶
Installing this plugin requires specifying the target profile. Using the web profile as an example, run the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:xby_skill/xby-biomarker-ranges
After installation, restart the DSH process to load the new plugin.
Typical Usage¶
The plugin depends on the API key provided by the official Xiaobenyang website. In DSH chat interactions, set the key using the set_xby_apikey command. After a successful setup, enter blood test data through natural language or commands to call calculate_phenoage for biological age calculation, or use get_biomarker_ranges to query reference ranges for each indicator.
Use Cases and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for scenarios where biological age calculation needs to be integrated into agent applications. Before use, make sure you have registered on the official Xiaobenyang website and obtained a valid API key.
Additionally, the plugin supports local development and debugging via cordis.patch.yml. Before installation, verify the source code and license (MIT). The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process and involves data calculations, so it is recommended to use it in a controlled environment.
Summary¶
By providing a standard DSH interface, the plugin integrates the PhenoAge clock model into agent workflows and simplifies the integration process for biological data analysis.
