DSH Web uses a plugin architecture that allows developers to customize the visual style through extensions. When the terminal’s visual presentation needs to change, this plugin provides dual-palette CRT themes, transforming DSH Web into a tactical terminal interface with retro industrial sci-fi characteristics.

What Is This

This is a browser-based DSH skin developed by WJNCT55555. It does not redraw DeepSeek or other third-party brand assets. It only uses CSS and visual layer overlays to turn DSH Web into a readable tactical terminal.

The plugin includes two color schemes:
* Unit-02 Tactical Palette: black background, red structures, orange controls, amber signals, and cyan for success states.
* Unit-01 Sync Palette: black-purple background, magenta structures, acid-green signals, and orange warnings.

Visual features include: scanline layers, raster effects, glass-edge vignetting, phosphor afterglow, diagonal progress bars, and dense vertical gauges.

Core Features

  1. Dual-Palette CRT Theme
The plugin provides two palettes: Unit-02 and Unit-01. Both schemes preserve the styles of DSH native controls (such as borderless text and icons), and only apply CRT colors to component outlines.

  2. Settings Panel and Controls
The plugin adds a CRT 主题 section to DSH settings. The panel contains three controls:

    • Enable CRT Palette: release or re-install the theme token layer. Turning it off immediately restores the DSH native palette.
    • Hardware Effects: independently toggle scanlines, raster, vignette, and phosphor layers.
    • Color Scheme: switch between Unit-02 and Unit-01, with color previews.
  3. Shortcuts and API

    • Global Shortcuts:
      • Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+Alt+C (macOS): toggle the effect layers.
      • Ctrl+Shift+Alt+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+Alt+C (macOS): switch between Unit-02 and Unit-01.
    • JavaScript API: from the browser console, you can call methods on the window.DSHCRT object:
      • enable(), disable(), toggle(): control effects.
      • setScheme('unit02' | 'unit01'), toggleScheme(): switch color scheme.
      • legacy aliases amber and violet are still accepted.
  4. Compatibility

    • Plugin Ecosystem: compatible with dsh-achievements and dsh-web-preview-float; this plugin only provides visual styles and does not add routes or services.
    • Conflict Handling: the plugin has a theme token layer. Do not enable another full-page theme plugin at the same time, because the later-loaded layer and CSS rules will override the former.

Installation and Enablement

Install from the GitHub release into the DSH Web configuration profile:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:WJNCT55555/dsh-crt-theme
dsh web

The plugin inserts a dsh-crt-theme load line into the configuration profile. If that line already exists in the configuration profile, remove the duplicate entry before enabling it.

Typical Usage

  1. After Installing: after starting DSH Web, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C to enable CRT effects, and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+P to switch to the Unit-02 Tactical Palette.
  2. Local Debugging: run window.DSHCRT.toggle() in the browser console to quickly test toggling effects.
  3. Inspecting Source: if you need to modify code under lib/, the repository retains TypeScript source. The compiled files can be used directly without a local build toolchain.

Use Cases and Notes

  • Runtime Environment: this is a browser plugin and does not depend on a local TypeScript toolchain. The effect layers automatically detect prefers-reduced-motion and remove dynamic effects under accessibility settings.
  • Uninstall Behavior: uninstalling the plugin restores DSH’s default palette preference, and the switch states in the Settings panel are cleared.
  • Security and Compliance: before installing, check the source code and LICENSE file. The plugin only overlays visual styles and does not involve data scraping or privilege escalation.
