The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem emphasizes pluginization and layering. When processing rigorously structured classical texts (such as the Zhouli), common challenges include difficult retrieval, unsupported citations, and a lack of structured interaction. The dsh-zhouli plugin provides a dedicated agent preset and retrieval tools for the Zhouli, aiming to make both the agent’s conversational process and its citation basis traceable to source coordinates.
Core Features¶
This plugin consists of two main parts: a preset that enforces the agent to act according to the institutional rules of the Zhouli, and a toolset providing full-text retrieval and collation capabilities.
- Zhouli Mode (Preset): Provides an agent preset that enforces a three-stage session process. When taking on a task, the agent first performs “Opening · Establishing Officials and Dividing Duties”; at in-task checkpoints, it performs “In-Process · Citing the Codex” (eight self-check methods); at the end of the session, it performs “Closing · Year-End Assessment” and self-reports the “Six Assessments” (integrity with goodness, integrity with competence, integrity with reverence, integrity with uprightness, integrity with law, and integrity with discernment).
- zhouli tools: Provides full-text retrieval capability for the Zhouli, supporting paragraph retrieval by coordinate, official-title research, paragraph listing, collation comparison, statistics, and more.
- Data support: Includes two Kanripo copies for mutual collation and an index of official titles and quotas.
Installation and Enablement¶
Before installing, make sure pnpm is installed locally. The installation command is:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-zhouli
Or install from GitHub source:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:SCP-CN-1059/dsh-zhouli
After installation, the plugin is automatically added to that profile’s layer stack; no manual modification of composition is required. After completion, you can select the “Zhouli Mode” preset when creating a new session.
Tool Usage¶
The tool entry point is zhouli, with functionality distinguished by the action parameter.
| Action | Capability | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
search |
Full-text search, with Traditional Chinese preferred and Simplified Chinese as fallback | query required; chapter, limit optional |
para |
Retrieve one source paragraph by coordinate, showing Traditional and Simplified Chinese side by side | coordinate required, in the form 1.1 |
zhiguan |
Research an official title’s quota and duties | query is the official title; if omitted, list all |
list |
List official titles in a chapter (or all chapters) | chapter, limit optional |
chapter |
List source paragraphs of a chapter | chapter required; limit optional |
jiaokan |
Check textual variants between the base text and the Zheng Xuan annotated edition | coordinate or query or chapter; if all omitted, report counts by chapter |
stats |
Report corpus size and source of the base text | None |
Examples:
# Retrieve paragraph by coordinate
zhouli(action:"para", coordinate:"1.1")
# Research an official title
zhouli(action:"zhiguan", query:"大宰")
# Full-text search
zhouli(action:"search", query:"六計", chapter:"天官冢宰")
Coordinate System¶
Every paragraph has a coordinate of the form chapter index.office index.
- Chapter index: 1–6, corresponding to Tian Guan Zhuang Zai, Di Guan Si Tu, Chun Guan Zong Bo, Xia Guan Si Ma, Qiu Guan Si Kou, and Dong Guan Kao Gong Ji.
- Office index:
.0is the chapter’s official roster (listing all official quotas);.1and subsequent values are the duty clauses of individual offices.
The citation format is Zhouli · Tian Guan Zhuang Zai 1.1. For example, 1.1 refers to 〈Da Zai〉, and 1.0 refers to the Tian Guan official roster.
License Notes¶
This plugin is divided into code and corpus, with different licenses:
- Code (plugin, preset, scripts): Licensed under the MIT License.
- Corpus (
data/): The base text is sourced from the Kanripo Han Text Repository and is under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. When redistributing or adapting the corpus, attribution must be retained and shared under the same license. The text of the Zhouli itself is in the public domain, but the license covers its modern digitalized output.
Ecosystem Background¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) philosophy is “everything is a plugin.” This plugin is maintained by a community developer and is not an official app store product.
