Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture. To interact with a locally running DSH process in WeChat, or to control local agents via WeChat, a dedicated connection layer is required. The dsh-wechat-bridge plugin provides this capability by integrating the WeChat iLink channel into the DSH ecosystem.

Plugin Overview

This is an independent community integration project that connects a local DSH process to the WeChat iLink bot channel. It does not include desktop WeChat automation scripts and does not depend on any third-party runtime environment. The project is released under the MIT License.

The plugin is positioned as a WeChat remote bridge for terminal use and automation workflows, rather than a general-purpose multi-IM aggregator. It does not provide a graphical configuration panel; instead, operations are available through a standalone CLI and an SSE control interface.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following core capabilities:

  • Message ingestion: receives WeChat iLink text messages and voice transcription messages.
  • Session management: supports continuing, creating, listing, and switching DSH sessions.
  • Bidirectional synchronization: user confirmation questions are synchronized bidirectionally between WeChat and DSH. Whichever end—desktop or WeChat—answers first makes that end’s question state effective.
  • Summary synchronization: reply summaries generated by DSH are proactively synchronized back to WeChat.
  • Control and monitoring: provides SSE event streams, message relay, outbox queue management, and status/log query APIs.
  • File transfer: supports streaming encrypted file uploads constrained by a directory whitelist.
  • Standalone CLI: provides the dsh-wechat command-line tool to avoid occupying the conflict-prone wx name.

Installation and Enablement

Before installation, ensure the local environment has Node.js 20+ installed and that the DeepSeek Harness version is compatible with 0.1.5-rc.1. Because there is another project with the same name on GitHub, make sure to verify the full repository name LZG3530606141/dsh-wechat-bridge.

Install the specified plugin version through the DSH plugin manager:

dsh plugin --profile <你的-profile> add "github:LZG3530606141/dsh-wechat-bridge#v0.1.0"

After installation, restart the corresponding DSH profile for the bundle to take effect.

Usage

After installation, use the dsh-wechat command to operate. By default, the plugin starts the control interface on 127.0.0.1:8848.

Commonly used commands are as follows:

  • Status and diagnostics:
    dsh-wechat status
    dsh-wechat doctor
  • Login and reconnection:
    dsh-wechat qr
    dsh-wechat relogin
  • Message handling:
    dsh-wechat listen [--json] [--filter <regex>]
    dsh-wechat send <text...>
    dsh-wechat send-file <absolute-path>
    dsh-wechat outbox [flush|clear]
    dsh-wechat chat <text...>
    dsh-wechat repl
  • Session operations:
    dsh-wechat sessions
    dsh-wechat switch <n|sessionId>
    dsh-wechat new [--bind]
  • Feature controls:
    dsh-wechat relay [session|cli|off]
    dsh-wechat log [--tail N] [-f]

The CLI supports configuration via environment variables:
* DSH_WECHAT_BRIDGE: control-plane URL, default http://127.0.0.1:8848.
* DSH_WECHAT_PORT: overrides the default port.
* DSH_WECHAT_TOKEN: remote control token.

Security and Precautions

In its security design, the plugin follows a “deny-by-default” principle:

  • Default listening: HTTP/control plane binds to host: 127.0.0.1 by default.
  • Remote control: tokenless remote control is denied by default (controlAllowRemote: false).
  • Dependencies: zero third-party runtime dependencies.
  • Data privacy: this repository does not contain desktop WeChat automation logic, nor does it package any tokens, QR code links, logs, session identifiers, or runtime status data.

If you need to configure the file-sending feature, it is recommended to narrow the fileSendRoots directory whitelist to avoid exposing the entire disks to the file-sending interface.

Do not commit data under the $DSH_HOME/wechat-bridge directory. This directory contains sensitive authorization credentials, context, outbox queues, and logs.

Ecosystem Background

The core philosophy of DSH is “everything is a plugin.” The DeepSeek Harness plugin market is an independent community directory and has no official affiliation with DeepSeek or Huanfang AI. This document is written solely based on community-verified facts and is intended to provide developers with a reference for tool selection.
