In the DSH Web UI usage scenario, in addition to dialogue interaction, a visual companion element is sometimes needed. The @v-manager/dsh-pet plugin makes this possible. It embeds the Vivi (Qianqian) Live2D avatar as a floating panel on the right side of the DSH page, fully based on browser-side injection and without involving additional host-side behavior.

What Is It

This is a desktop pet plugin for DSH Web UI, maintained by Lolancier. It includes a built-in Live2D avatar, stores its state through the DSH page localStorage, and implements a lightweight character interaction system.

Core Features

  • Live2D Qianqian avatar: Built-in Qianqian Live2D model; both the model file and runtime are included in the plugin package.
  • Interaction and cooldown:
    • Petting: Click the character to pet it, increasing the bond value (bond) by 1, with a 10-second cooldown.
    • Feeding: Click the “Feeding” button to consume a small dried fish, increasing the bond value by 5, with a 30-second cooldown and a daily limit of 5.
  • Bond system: The bond value is divided into three tiers (0-39 Acquaintance / 40-79 Familiarity / 80-100 Bond), and emotions drive the character to switch among representative expressions from a set of 31 expressions.
  • Data isolation: The plugin only reads from and writes to the DSH page’s own localStorage (with the prefix vmanager:), and does not read from or write to the desktop data directory.

Installation and Enablement

Use the official CLI installation command:

node "D:\DSH\DSH Desktop\resources\app\node_modules\@deepseek-ai\dsh\lib\bin.js" plugin --profile web add https://github.com/Lolancier/v-manager-dsh-pet

After installation, you must completely exit and restart DSH Desktop to see the floating panel on the right side.

Usage

  • Basic interaction: Click the character to pet it and cycle through expressions; click the “Feeding” button on the panel to consume small dried fish and increase the bond.
  • Panel control: The panel supports collapsing/expanding, and when collapsed it becomes a 44px narrow strip.
  • Plugin toggle: You can find and enable/disable this plugin in the DSH plugin marketplace (dshmarket) → “Installed” page.

Notes

  • Model license: The Qianqian model is an authorized commercially available model, but this project declares non-commercial use.
  • Data storage: Only the DSH page localStorage is used; when the plugin is disabled, disabled: true is written to cordis.patch.yml.
  • Restart requirement: After installation or uninstallation, you must completely exit and restart DSH Desktop for the changes to take effect.
