Introduction

The message input box in DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is limited by the virtual keyboard in mobile environments. The Shift+Enter combination is difficult to trigger, causing the line-break function to fail. The DSH Mobile Keys plugin aims to resolve this interaction gap by automatically detecting the device environment and switching keyboard combinations, ensuring smooth input across different devices.

Plugin Scope

A DSH mobile hotkey mode plugin maintained by liujuntao123 under the MIT license.

Core Features

  1. Automatic Detection and Switching: The plugin automatically detects the current device environment. In mobile mode, the send key becomes Ctrl+Enter, and the line-break key becomes Enter; desktop mode retains the default Enter to send and Shift+Enter to break lines.
  2. Settings Panel Toggle: DSH Settings -> General -> “Mobile Hotkey Mode” toggle. It can display the device detection status and currently active keys in real time.
  3. Command-Line Interaction: Enter /mobilekeys in the message input box to choose “Auto Detection”, “On”, or “Off” mode.
  4. Console API: Provides a complete JavaScript interface, including getting status, setting mode, and retrieving key bindings.
  5. Zero Backend and Native Compatibility: Configuration is saved in the browser’s localStorage and does not depend on backend services. It does not affect native behavior in scenarios such as IME synthesis or pop-up layers.

Installation and Enablement

Make sure pnpm is installed in the environment. Install it using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile web add git+https://github.com/liujuntao123/dsh-mobile-keys.git

After installation, you must restart dsh web and force-refresh the browser page (Ctrl+F5) to ensure the plugin takes effect.

If you need to install manually, follow these steps:
1. Run pnpm add git+https://github.com/liujuntao123/dsh-mobile-keys.git in the web profile directory.
2. Add the "dsh-mobile-keys" string to the dsh.profile.bundles array in package.json.

Usage

  1. Command Switching: Enter /mobilekeys in the DSH message input box and choose a mode as prompted.
  2. Console Debugging:
   // 查看当前状态
   window.__dshMobileKeys.getStatus()
   // 设置模式('auto' | 'on' | 'off')
   window.__dshMobileKeys.setMode('on')
   // 获取当前键位映射
   window.__dshMobileKeys.getBindings()

Notes

  1. The plugin relies on pnpm for package management.
  2. After installation, the DSH process must be restarted and the browser refreshed; otherwise, the plugin will not take effect.
  3. During manual installation, pay special attention to configuring the dsh.profile.bundles array.

Conclusion

This plugin solves cross-device input differences with lightweight local logic and is suitable for DSH users who need a consistent interaction experience across multiple devices.
