The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” In practical use, workspace session management can be fragmented: when deleting a workspace, historical sessions can easily scatter into the sidebar’s “Ungrouped” area and are difficult to clean up; manually archiving sessions lacks a unified entry point and has low operational efficiency. The dsh-workspace-enhance plugin is designed exactly for this: it provides DSH with Codex-style workspace session binding, quick archiving at the top of a session, and a full-featured archived session management center.

Plugin Purpose

This plugin is maintained by the user lingchunya and aims to solve the problem of fragmented workspace session management in DSH. It helps developers keep the sidebar tidy through automatic binding and archiving mechanisms, and provides the ability to restore or permanently delete sessions from the archive list.

Core Features

Codex-style Workspace Session Binding

The plugin implements session binding logic similar to Codex:
* When deleting a workspace: all sessions under that workspace are automatically archived and hidden, and no longer flow into the sidebar’s “Ungrouped” area, keeping the interface tidy.
* When re-adding a workspace: the plugin scans underlying historical sessions, automatically rebinds them under that workspace, and unarchives them, restoring all previous history.

Quick Archiving at the Top of the Session

  • The session toolbar directly provides an “Archive Session” button.
  • Supports global shortcuts: ⌘ + Shift + A on Mac, and Ctrl + Shift + A on Windows/Linux.
  • After archiving, it smoothly transitions to a new session.

Archived Session Management Center

  • The plugin provides a 📦 Archived Sessions entry, located at the bottom of the sidebar (above Settings) and at the top of the session.
  • The management center supports viewing session titles, update times, and owning workspace tags (such as active workspace, removed workspace, etc.).
  • Features include real-time fuzzy search by title or workspace path, restoring archives for a single item or in batches, and permanent physical deletion of sessions.

Installation and Activation

Installation

Run the following command in the terminal to install:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:lingchunya/dsh-workspace-enhance

How to Activate

After installation, refresh the browser or restart the dsh web service to activate the plugin.

Typical Usage

  • Archive the current session: On any session page, use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ + Shift + A (Mac) to quickly archive the current session.
  • Uninstall the plugin: To remove the plugin, you can run the following command in the terminal:
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-workspace-enhance

Notes

  • This plugin depends on the @deepseek-ai/cordis library, with version >= 4.0.1.
  • Applicable to the DSH Web client environment.
  • It is recommended to check the source code and license (MIT) before installation.

This plugin solves the problem of fragmented workspace session management in DSH through automation and visualization, making it suitable for developers who need to manage a large number of sessions in a fine-grained way. For more information, see the GitHub repository.
