Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin: manage archived conversations in the settings interface — unarchive and permanently delete.

After DSH archives a conversation, it disappears from the sidebar. This plugin is the only entry point to retrieve and clean up those conversations, presenting them as a list in Settings.

Core Features

    Open the “Archived Conversations” page in Settings. All archived conversations are listed in reverse order of archiving.

  2. Row Actions
    The conversation list supports unarchive and delete operations. Deletion requires a second confirmation.

  3. Real-Time Bidirectional Sync
    Conversations archived in the sidebar appear on this page immediately; conversations unarchived here return to the sidebar immediately.

  4. Robustness
    Conversations can still be deleted even if reading fails (bad rows).

    Supports Chinese and English, and follows light/dark themes.

Installation and Enablement

Install the dependency under the default desktop profile:

cd ~/.dsh/profiles/desktop
pnpm add dsh-plugin-archived-conversations

After installation, restart DeepSeek Harness and open “Settings → Archived Conversations” to use it.

Typical Usage

  1. View List
    Open the “Archived Conversations” page in Settings to view all archived sessions.

  2. Restore Conversation
    Click “Unarchive”, and the conversation returns to the sidebar immediately.

  3. Permanently Delete
    Click “Delete”, confirm, and permanently remove the session.

  4. Batch Operations
    Supports batch unarchiving and other actions.

Notes

  • Archived conversations do not appear in the sidebar. This plugin is the only entry point to manage them.
  • Deletion cleans up in-memory sessions, disk logs (session.l.zstd), workspace accounting, and archive records.
  • Ensure the installed DSH core version meets the peer dependency requirements. If the peer requirement does not match (for example, DSH core >= 0.2.0-rc.2 but an older plugin version is installed), the plugin is silently skipped and not loaded.
  • The plugin is client-side code and must be built. The browser runtime requires registration through window.__ModuleLoader__.load.
