Introduction¶
In the DSH ecosystem, dsh-accounts is currently a host-side plugin (its manifest does not declare dsh.client), and its management entry is a separate URL that does not appear in the left navigation of the settings panel. Compared with plugins that declare dsh.client, such as dsh-mnemon or @xmanrui/dsh-im, they register their configuration areas directly into settings.section, allowing users to manage them in the settings panel. dsh-accounts-ui resolves this experience gap: it registers an “Accounts” section into settings.section, renders it with native UI components, and integrates the management features of dsh-accounts directly into the settings panel.
Plugin Overview¶
- Name:
dsh-accounts-ui - Purpose: Adds a native UI component rendering entry for an “Accounts” section in the DSH settings panel for
dsh-accounts. - Maintainer: kexuejin
- Status: Superseded by an upstream PR; retained as a temporary patch for older versions.
- License: MIT
Core Features and Implementation¶
The plugin registers a section through the settings.section slot, with id dsh-accounts-ui, order 22 (after “IM Bot”), labeled “Accounts”.
The interface is rendered using native components from @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-primitives (Button, Input, Modal, Tag, StateDot), with colors following the --dsw-alias-* theme tokens.
Capabilities:
1. List display: Shows id, description, type, domain, TOTP, and a readable status.
2. CRUD operations: Supports create, edit (password masked), delete (with confirmation), and refresh.
3. Data safety: Data is read from and written to the same-origin dsh-accounts API; account values never leave the browser.
Installation and Enablement¶
Before installing, make sure the dsh-accounts plugin is already installed.
dsh plugin --profile web add file:/Volumes/Kapp/source/dsh-accounts-ui
After installation, restart the DSH client. After the restart, the “Accounts” section will appear in the settings panel.
Notes and Limitations¶
- Conflict warning: Do not install the upstream PR version at the same time, otherwise two “Accounts” sections will appear.
- Editing limitation: The id cannot be changed when editing (the id is the credential key
dsh-accounts/<id>). - Environment variables: When saving, the validity of environment variable names is checked and must follow the
[A-Za-z_][A-Za-z0-9_]*rule. - Transitional nature: This plugin has been superseded by the upstream PR and is only a temporary patch. After the upstream change is merged, uninstall this plugin and use the upstream version.
Conclusion¶
As a transitional tool, this plugin serves the scenario of needing an immediate settings entry before the upstream feature has been merged. All data reads and writes happen locally in the browser and do not involve external transmission. View the complete source code or catalog information at: GitHub / SkillHub catalog.
