DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture. For developers who need to integrate an email system into the Web interface, hun1315/tencent-agent-mail-dsh-plugin provides a full-screen workbench solution based on Tencent Agent Mail (agent.qq.com). The plugin allows users to perform email polling, storage, classification, and LLM-based organization directly within DSH, without navigating to external web pages.

Core Features

The plugin mainly provides the following capabilities:
1. Real-time email retrieval and storage: While DSH is online, it polls the Agently mailbox in the background every 60 seconds (configurable). New emails are automatically stored in local JSON storage.

6. Email remote control (command channel): Users can trigger DSH to execute tasks and reply by sending an email containing specific keywords from a whitelisted mailbox.

Installation and Setup

The plugin requires Node.js >= 18.
1. Install and log in to Agently CLI:

   npm install -g @tencent-qqmail/agently-cli
   agently login
  1. Configure LLM credentials:
    Create the ~/.dsh/dsh-mailbox/credentials file with the following content:

Notes

  • Environment requirements: Windows is preferred. Linux/macOS may work in theory but have not been fully validated. Node.js >= 18 is required.
  • Security: Email bodies are treated as untrusted input and are rendered as plain text only; they are never executed. Credentials are stored locally in ~/.dsh/dsh-mailbox/credentials.json and are not committed to the repository.
  • Not plug-and-play: After installation, bind the LLM key in the DSH dialog and edit ~/.dsh/dsh-mailbox/settings to configure parameters such as the whitelist and polling interval.
