Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) allows sessions to be managed through the Web GUI and provides basic archiving capabilities. However, during real-world development, archived sessions often lack effective management options, such as renaming, restoring, or deleting them. crack-time/dsh-archive is a session archive plugin for the DSH web GUI. It fills the gaps in the native tooling for managing archived sessions and provides full CRUD capabilities.

Features

View and Entry

The plugin adds a 28px circular button to the right of the “Add Workspace” button in the sidebar. Its style matches the native iconButton, and it shows a tooltip on hover. Clicking the button switches to the archived view. The layout matches the native session tree and covers the original workspace list area.

Archived View

The archived view groups sessions by workspace, supports collapsing groups, and sorts the list in descending time order.

Session Actions

Hovering over a session row reveals a three-dot menu, offering the following actions:
- Rename: Uses the native dialog, with automatic focus and text selection, IME composition protection for Chinese input, Enter to confirm, Escape/overlay click to close, and inline error display.
- Restore: Restores an archived session to its original workspace position.
- Delete: Executed via the native confirmation dialog (red danger button + consequence description). This removes the log file, and the action is irreversible.

API Endpoints

The plugin provides the following API endpoints:
- GET /api/archived: Retrieves the list of archived sessions (grouped by workspace).
- POST /api/rename-session: Renames a session.
- POST /api/unarchive: Restores an archived session.
- POST /api/delete-session: Deletes an archived session.

Installation and Activation

This plugin requires manually linking the local package and editing the configuration file to register it.

  1. Link the local package to the DSH web profile (one-time operation):

  1. Edit the configuration file to register the plugin. The path is C:\Users\<you>\.dsh\profiles\web\cordis.patch.yml. Append the following content to the file:

Typical Usage

  1. Click the new archive button in the sidebar to switch to the archived view.
  2. In the archived view, use the row menu to rename, restore, or delete a session.

Notes

  • The delete action removes the corresponding log file and cannot be undone. Please confirm before performing this action.
  • During installation, you must manually edit the cordis.patch.yml file. Ensure the path and configuration are correct.
  • The plugin runs with the current DSH process permissions. It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
