DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts the philosophy of “everything is a plugin.” Managing Agent presets and Skill files in the Web interface usually requires direct file system operations. To provide a more intuitive way to view and manage these configurations on the Web, the dsh-agent-skill-manager plugin provides a new settings page.
Core Features¶
The plugin adds the following capabilities to the Web Settings → Agent & Skill page:
- Agent preset management: Lists all agent presets (id / name / trust / path). Supports copying and deleting presets.
- Skills list: Lists skills visible in the current session (name / description / provider / source).
Installation and Activation¶
Ensure your DSH environment version is 0.1.0-rc.6 or newer.
- Run the installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-agent-skill-manager
- Restart the
dsh webprocess. - Open the Web UI and navigate to Settings → Agent & Skill.
You can also install it from GitHub:
dsh plugin --profile web add "github:ArkFishingLab/dsh-agent-skill-manager#main"
Notes¶
- Community nature: This is a community plugin, not an official DeepSeek package.
- MVP limitations: It is currently in the MVP stage. Features include read-only lists and copying/deleting presets. The “import new skill” feature for Skills has not yet been implemented.
- File deletion risk: Deleting an Agent preset actually removes the files under
~/.dsh/.agent-presets/<id>/. A confirmation prompt is shown before the operation, and the deletion cannot be undone. - Data security: RPC calls only return scalar fields and do not serialize live Service objects. The Web API follows DSH’s trusted-host policy.
