Preface

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web GUI is developed by default based on desktop interaction logic. When used on an iPad or mobile device, the WebKit rendering engine and the touch gesture pipeline can easily conflict, causing issues such as janky scrolling in the session list, accidental sidebar collapse due to screen size breakpoints, and unwanted system soft keyboard popups when switching sessions.

dsh-plugin-mobile-touch is a plugin designed specifically to solve these touch interaction pain points. By intercepting native events and rewriting touch logic, it provides an interaction experience closer to native applications in iPadOS 15+ environments.

Core Features

The plugin mainly includes the following capabilities:

  • Smart hardware detection: Automatically recognizes touch screen environments (pointer: coarse) and activates only on touch devices, adding zero overhead for desktop mouse operations.
  • Dedicated tree-style list touch engine: Rewrites touch event handling for the session list to ensure millisecond-level scrolling responsiveness 100% of the time.
  • Smart soft keyboard false-trigger guard: Intercepts unintentional input focusing and allows the system keyboard to pop up only when the user directly taps an input box.
  • iPad tablet large-screen sidebar persistence: Locks the expanded state of the sidebar to prevent unexpected collapse caused by screen resolution breakpoints (e.g., 1024px).
  • Precise native scrollbar rendering: Corrects scrollbar display proportions and occlusion issues.
  • Global auto-adaptation: The optimized touch logic applies to all subsequently installed new UI plugins.

Installation and Activation

Before installing, ensure that a local Node.js environment is available and that the DSH version meets the dependency requirements.

1. Install via npm

# 安装插件依赖
npm install -D @anonyjcy/dsh-plugin-mobile-touch

2. Mount to a DSH Profile via CLI

# 一键挂载到默认 Web Profile
npx @anonyjcy/dsh-plugin-mobile-touch install

# 检查安装状态与健康度
node bin/cli.js status

Notes

  • Dependency environment: The plugin depends on @deepseek-ai/cordis version >= 3.0.0.
  • Platform limitation: It activates only on touch screen devices; the relevant logic is not loaded on desktop.
  • License: The project is open-sourced under the MIT License.
  • Source code review: Because it involves intercepting native DOM and event chains, it is recommended to confirm that the source logic meets expectations before installation.
