Introduction¶
The philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When your configuration contains hundreds of fibers, it is hard to tell which components actually make up the agent. Which fiber is stuck in pending? Who provides the llm service? What does dsh-session-title-first-prompt-llm do? dsh-constellation is designed to solve these problems. It provides a real-time, self-organizing constellation map showing every plugin and service fiber in a running profile.
What This Is¶
dsh-constellation is a client-side plugin that provides a real-time, self-organizing constellation map of the DeepSeek Harness plugin ecosystem. It supports AI-balanced taxonomies, bilingual labels, instant search, health diagnostics, and one-click plugin operations.
Core Features¶
Visual Map¶
Plugins are displayed graphically and support zooming and search. The map starts collapsed: each capability domain is displayed as a pill shape, sized according to its number of members, with aggregated dependency edges between domains.
- Click a domain to expand its member plugins (in a radial layout), and click again to collapse it.
- Large domains (with more than 12 members) display service clusters (for example, llm ×8); clicking a cluster filters plugins.
- Hovering over or selecting a plugin displays real-time dependency edges.
- Press / to search plugins, services, keywords, or domains.
AI-Native Organization¶
The plugin ecosystem grows faster than any hand-written category list can keep up with. If an LLM is enabled in the profile, Constellation leverages it:
- AI taxonomy: The model proposes a balanced capability taxonomy (without giant or singleton domains) with bilingual labels. It assigns a short label to each plugin.
- AI descriptions: Generates a one-line summary for plugins without descriptions.
- One-click reclassification: Click the “AI classify” button to reorganize the map.
Detail Drawer & Actions¶
Each plugin opens a side drawer showing its label, description, phase, and the services it provides/consumes.
- Enable / disable: Toggles the entry state via the cordis-plugin-loader tree API and persists the change to the configuration (no restart required).
- Remove: Stops the entry and removes it from the loader tree (confirmation required).
Doctor Diagnostics¶
Automatically diagnoses the live snapshot. Click a finding to inspect details:
- ⏳ Stuck pending: Fibers waiting for a service that is not provided by any active plugin.
- ❌ Failed fibers: Plugins that crashed during loading.
- 🧟 Zombie entries: Entries that are enabled but whose fiber has been released.
- ⚠️ Duplicate providers: Two plugins provide the same service.
Bilingual UI¶
The interface supports Chinese and English with one-click switching.
Installation and Enabling¶
Installing the plugin requires a running Web profile (for example, the web profile).
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-constellation
After installation, start the Web UI:
dsh --profile web
Click the ✦ button in the bottom-right corner of the interface to open Constellation.
Typical Usage¶
- Press
/to search plugins, domains, or keywords. - Click a domain to expand/collapse its member plugins.
- Click a cluster (for example,
llm ×8) to filter plugins. - Enable, disable, or remove plugins from the detail drawer.
Requirements and Notes¶
- DeepSeek Harness: The version must be
>= 0.1.0-rc.8. - Node.js: The version must be
>= 20. - Data safety: Data never leaves localhost; routing rejects non-loopback Host headers.
- Optional: To use AI taxonomy and labels, configure a default model.
Conclusion¶
dsh-constellation provides a visual operations console for managing a complex plugin ecosystem, allowing developers to quickly locate issues and manage plugin states.
