Introduction

The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” During development, managing third-party plugins requires manually running installation commands in the terminal or copying and pasting from external directories, lacking a unified entry point. 99galaxy/dsh-plugin-market solves this problem. It is a DSH bundle that adds a “DSH Plugin Market” section to the settings panel, providing directory browsing, status management, and one-click installation.

Core Features

This plugin market connects to the official catalog maintained in awesome-dsh-plugin and provides the following capabilities:

  1. Browse and Install: Browse the plugin directory directly within the settings panel, and click the “Install” button to execute the official installation command.
  2. Filter and Sort: Supports filtering by category, as well as sorting by star count, download count, name, or catalog inclusion time.
  3. Status Management: Provides three tabs. All Plugins shows the full catalog; Installed lists plugins that are already installed in the current profile; Updatable lists plugins that have a newer version available for upgrade in the catalog.
  4. Chinese/English Toggle: Plugin descriptions support real-time switching between Chinese and English.
  5. Local Cache: Catalog data is cached locally and reused within 1 hour. To fetch the latest data, click “Force Refetch”.
  6. Fallback Strategy: When fetching the catalog, a four-level fallback mechanism is used (official domain → mirror → CDN → npm) to ensure availability.

Installation and Enabling

This is a DSH bundle. After installation, you need to restart DSH for it to be loaded automatically.

First, go to your profile directory (default: ~/.dsh/profiles/web) and install the package using pnpm:

cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web
pnpm add github:99galaxy/dsh-plugin-market

After installation, you must explicitly declare the package name in the dsh.profile.bundles list in package.json. Only then will DSH recognize and load it:

{
  "dsh": {
    "profile": {
      "bundles": ["...", "@99galaxy/dsh-plugin-market"]
    }
  }
}

Save the file and restart DSH.

Usage Steps

  1. Open the DSH settings panel and find the “DSH Plugin Market” section.
  2. On the All Plugins tab, browse or search, then click the “Install” button on the right side of the card.
  3. After installation, restart DSH for the plugin to take effect.
  4. On the Installed tab, confirm the installation status, and on the Updatable tab, handle version upgrades.

Notes

  • Package Name Recognition: Although the repository name is 99galaxy/dsh-plugin-market, when declaring it in package.json, you must use the scoped package name @99galaxy/dsh-plugin-market.
  • Update Behavior: Clicking “Update” executes the official installation command recorded in the catalog, which may change the plugin source (for example, from GitHub installation to npm installation). If you need to pin a specific source, it is not recommended to click Update.
  • Installation Restrictions: For installation commands listed in the catalog, the package name must not start with -; otherwise, execution will be rejected.
  • Interface Security: HTTP endpoints require same-origin calls (validated by checking Sec-Fetch-Site and Origin) and Content-Type: application/json to ensure security.
