In DeepSeek Harness (DSH), developers often encounter a problem: stable capabilities formed during a task are lost after the current conversation ends and cannot be reused. dsh-librarian is designed to solve this problem. As a DSH plugin, it helps automatically generate, evolve, and manage your DSH plugins.

Core Features

dsh-librarian provides dynamic capability consolidation and lifecycle management:
* Dynamic capability consolidation: You complete tasks in DSH as usual. After a task ends, it determines whether any stable capabilities have emerged that can be reused across different inputs; capabilities worth saving become native Cordis Plugins and are registered in the plugin library by the anime-style librarian Mira.
* Tiered management: New plugins are session-scoped by default; a stable capability can be promoted to a user-level library item only when the same capability is independently needed again in another isolated session.
* Cold loading: The library displays safe metadata tickets. During DSH startup, plugin source code is not injected into the main Agent prompt.
* Interaction and approval: View and manage plugins in the pixel-style DSH Web UI, including inspecting source code of running plugins, approving, rejecting, enabling/disabling, or two-step deletion. It provides four operations: Inspect, Approve, Reject, and Delete.

Installation and Enablement

Ensure that DSH is installed locally and that a web profile exists.

git clone https://github.com/xuc865/dsh-librarian.git
cd dsh-librarian
dsh plugin --profile web add .
dsh web

Typical Usage

  1. Use DSH normally: Complete tasks in DSH as usual.
  2. Automatic consolidation: After a task ends, the plugin automatically determines whether any stable capabilities have emerged that can be reused across different inputs. Capabilities worth saving are registered in the plugin library.
  3. Cross-session reuse: A one-time picker sub-agent invoked through the Host proposes a Promotion. The Promotion is validated, for example: the source lineage must be in the Host allowlist, and the evidence must come from different sessions.
  4. Manage plugins: View and manage plugins in the pixel-style DSH Web UI, including inspecting source code of running plugins, approving, rejecting, enabling/disabling, or two-step deletion.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes

  • Applicable scenarios: Suitable for developers who want to consolidate stable capabilities in DSH and achieve cross-session reuse.
  • Notes:
    • It is not another workflow canvas, nor will it turn 50 tasks into 50 global plugins.
    • Themes only modify the visual layer; they do not take over DSH layout sizes, interaction semantics, or accessibility. The Librarian overlay remains an independent Portal.
    • It displays safe metadata tickets, and DSH startup does not inject plugin source code into the main Agent prompt.
    • Select at most three Plugins each time.
    • If the lineage is the same but the semantics differ, a derived lineage is generated instead of overwriting the old capability.

Summary

dsh-librarian helps developers manage DSH plugins through a mechanism that starts at the session level and, after independent reuse, promotes them to the user level. Combined with a cold-loading strategy and a pixelated interface, it provides a complete workflow from capability consolidation to management.
