Introduction¶
Handling complex tasks in DeepSeek Harness often requires manually coordinating multiple steps. tt-wang/dsh-agent-swarm introduces a coordinated team of agents that combines the main agent’s planning with team member collaboration to create auditable workflows.
What Is This?¶
This is a plugin natively integrated into DeepSeek Harness that provides a persistent agent swarm. It is maintained by TT-Wang and released under the MIT license. The plugin implements task decomposition, execution, and validation through native Harness sessions and independent Git worktrees.
Core Features¶
- One-Click Planning: The main agent inspects the project, organizes the work, and selects the team and resource budget.
- Peer Collaboration: Members can exchange findings, ask questions, or challenge evidence.
- Independent Validation: Submitted code and configuration changes must pass attestation checks and typically require validation by different members.
- Embedded Sidebar: Displays the currently active members, operation status, resource usage, and recent activity.
- Persistent Workflows: Supports recovery after interruptions while keeping resource usage records visible.
- Local Git Project Support: Uses Git worktrees to manage changes without interfering with the main branch.
Typical Usage¶
In the DSH conversation, send the following command:
/agent-swarm Fix the duplicate search results. Preserve the API, add regression tests, and independently verify the change.
The main agent then creates a plan and tracks progress in the sidebar.
Installation and Enablement¶
The plugin can be installed from a directory or a GitHub source. Before using it, ensure the environment meets the dependency requirements.
Use Cases and Notes¶
- Use Cases: Complex bug fixes, feature delivery across modules, and understanding or analyzing unfamiliar code.
- Environment Requirements: Requires Node.js version
^22.19.0or>=24.0.0. - Permissions and Security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installing, review the source code and license (MIT). Code and configuration changes require attestation checks.
- Git Dependency: Only local Git projects are supported.
