The web interface of DeepSeek Harness lacks intuitive feedback when managing skill invocations. Developers typically need to manually check logs or re-enter commands. The dsh-skill-usage plugin solves this problem by adding a Skill Center to the sidebar for real-time monitoring and batch management of skills.
Plugin Information¶
Name: dsh-skill-usage
Maintainer: spritebbb
License: MIT
Purpose: A DSH sidebar Skill Center that displays, in real time, the skills currently in use in the current session and allows enabling one or multiple skills at a time (injects skill descriptions, making them available for the entire conversation turn).
Core Features¶
This plugin primarily provides the following capabilities:
- Real-time display of skills currently in use in the current session.
- Display skill usage history.
- Enable one or multiple skills at a time.
- Make skills available for the entire conversation turn by injecting skill descriptions.
Installation¶
Use the official plugin installation command to add this plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-skill-usage
Usage¶
After installation, no configuration is required. The plugin adds an interactive entry at the bottom of the sidebar:
- Badge Display: A skill badge appears at the bottom of the sidebar. When the model loads a skill, or after a user explicitly invokes one via
/name, the badge updates to the current skill name. - View History: Click the badge to open the panel. The panel lists the skills already used in this session.
- Batch Enable: In the panel, select one or multiple available skills and click the “Enable” button. The plugin injects the descriptions of the selected skills into the current conversation, allowing the model to use these skills throughout the entire conversation turn.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- This plugin requires no configuration and can be used directly after installation.
