The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” As plugins, skills, and tools accumulate, the environment becomes difficult to manage: dependencies are hidden, AI behavior is a black box, and unused plugins pile up. This plugin lets you understand the whole system through one graph and each turn through one trace.
Core Features¶
Force-Directed Graph
Plugins, skills, and tools are rendered as nodes, with a smooth physics-based layout. Dependencies (depends) are shown as edges, and “bundle containment” (contains) is displayed as clusters enclosed by convex hull bubbles, intuitively showing which plugins belong to the same family.
List View
Provides tabs for plugins, skills, and tools. Supports searching by name and filtering by layer, making it suitable for precisely locating a specific node.
Per-Turn Thinking Process
After selecting a dialogue turn, the tools called in that turn are highlighted (number badges + call arrows), and thoughts (💭) and replies (💬) are shown as bubbles. Click a bubble to view the full text, and click a blank area to collapse it. Click a tool node, and the corresponding thought bubble is also highlighted.
Usage Statistics and Health Diagnostics
Each node displays “how many times it was used, when it was last used, and in which recent turns it was called.” The outer ring of a node marks the status of failed loading (🔴) or disabled (⚪), helping quickly locate broken plugins.
Report Export and Persistence
Supports one-click export of a Markdown report (overview, problematic plugins, unused plugin list, usage ranking). Statistics and history are saved locally in ~/.dsh/kg-knowledge-graph.json, so they are not lost after restart.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in a terminal to install it:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-knowledge-graph
After installation, open the “Plugin Graph” tab in the right sidebar of the DSH Web interface. If there is no sidebar, a floating button appears in the bottom-right corner of the interface.
Usage¶
- View global view and dependencies: The graph view opens by default. Use the mouse wheel to zoom and drag to pan. Click “Show all dependencies” at the top to toggle the display or hide dependency edges.
- Review the thinking trace: Click “Previous turn calls” at the bottom, or select a specific dialogue turn from the dropdown. At this time, the tools called in that turn are highlighted in the graph, and thought and reply bubbles appear.
- Filter and search: Use the search box at the top to filter nodes, or switch layers (plugins / skills / tools).
- Export report: Click the “Export report” button to download the current environment state in Markdown format locally.
Permissions and Compatibility¶
Platform: Web (adapted to the web-ui sidebar; if there is no sidebar, it automatically degrades to a floating panel).
Permission notes: This plugin needs to enumerate the plugin list, listen to tool calls, read sessions, write local statistics files, and register a local API. It does not send data to any external service and runs completely offline.
Dependencies: The host side depends on @deepseek-ai/cordis, and the client side depends on react (^18.2.0).
