Introduction

DeepSeek Harness is a tool for developers. Its Web UI provides English and Chinese interfaces by default. In scenarios where debugging in Spanish or collaborating with Spanish-speaking users is required, modifying code directly or waiting for official support may be inefficient. dsh-locale-es is a community-maintained plugin designed to add Spanish support to the DeepSeek Harness Web UI through a plugin-based approach, without touching core code.

Plugin Overview

dsh-locale-es is a client plugin maintained by GuidoMaxier. It injects Spanish (es) into DSH language settings through the official locale registration mechanism.

Core capabilities:
- Adds Spanish support to the DeepSeek Harness Web UI.
- Adds Spanish to the Settings > General > Language options.
- Covers 1626 strings across 47 namespaces, with untranslated parts automatically falling back to English.

Installation and Enabling

To install this plugin, you must use the plugin command provided by DeepSeek Harness; it cannot be installed using standard npm install.

Installation steps:

  1. Run the following command in the terminal to install the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-locale-es
  1. After installation, restart DeepSeek Harness.
  2. Open the Web UI and go to Settings > General > Language.
  3. Select Español from the language list.

Notes

Before using this plugin, be aware of the following environment and operation limitations:

  • Node.js version: Node.js version >= 22 is required.
  • Installation method: This plugin cannot be installed via npm install; otherwise, DSH cannot load it. You must use the dsh plugin command.
  • Code modifications: The plugin does not modify the node_modules directory or DeepSeek Harness source code. It only injects localization through the registration API.
  • Updates and maintenance: When updating the DeepSeek Harness main program, you do not need to reinstall or reconfigure the language pack. The plugin supports cross-version compatibility.

Summary

dsh-locale-es provides non-invasive Spanish interface support for DeepSeek Harness. If you need to switch your development environment or tool interface to Spanish, this is currently the most direct approach. For more details, see its GitHub repository.
