Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness desktop sidebar plugin for one-click viewing of the current gacha banners and event start/end dates across mainstream 2D games. When managing 2D game resources, quickly confirming the current version, banner, and event start/end times is a high-frequency need. This plugin provides that capability through a sidebar floating panel, supporting online automatic refresh and multi-source automatic fallback.
Core Features¶
The plugin mainly includes the following capabilities:
- Sidebar floating panel: The “📅 2D Game Calendar” button at the bottom of the sidebar expands the floating panel on click. Each row displays a game’s current banner, banner start/end, current event, and event start/end.
- Countdown and details: Displays remaining time; hover to view the full banner/event name and the source site’s original text.
- Automatic refresh mechanism:
- Forced refresh on startup: A refresh is forced once when the plugin is updated or installed for the first time; hover to view the time of the last complete success.
- Interval refresh: Other refreshes occur at the configured interval (1–42 days), counted from the last successful refresh.
- Refresh status and failure classification: The top row shows refresh status, classified as “Success / Banner failure / Event failure / New banner not yet announced / New event not yet announced.” Hover to view itemized reasons. “Source error” is counted as a failure, while “the source site has not yet included the current period” is not counted as a failure.
- Independent multi-source and automatic fallback: Sources for each game are independent (official announcements / official wiki / third-party site); automatic fallback to an alternative source occurs on failure. The settings page allows switching sources or entering custom addresses.
- Customization and self-check: The settings page supports custom entries (name + icon + source link), display order, and entry visibility/deletion. It provides a parser self-check function that can run through each source, report parsing issues, and help locate source site redesigns.
Installation and Activation¶
Install using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile desktop add dsh-gacha-calendar
Or install manually: copy the repository to the profile’s node_modules directory, then restart DSH Desktop.
Before installation, confirm that the DSH version satisfies the peer dependency range:
>=0.1.1-rc.2 <0.2.0-0 || >=0.2.0-rc.1 <0.3.0-0 (cordis ^4.0.1, schemastery >=3.18.0 <4).
Typical Usage¶
- View schedules: Click the “📅 2D Game Calendar” button at the bottom of the sidebar to expand the floating panel and view the status of each game.
- Switch sources: Open the settings page and switch the data source for a specific game or enter a custom address.
- Parser self-check: Click parser self-check on the settings page to view the fetch and parse execution results for each source site.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Applicable scenarios: Primarily aimed at users who need to frequently check 2D game banner and event schedules.
- Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Because it is an open-source project, it is recommended to inspect the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
- Disclaimer: This project is a non-profit personal project and has no affiliation or cooperative relationship with any game developer, publisher, or official/community wiki. Schedule data for banners, events, etc., is obtained from public official announcements, community wikis, and third-party sites. It is used only for aggregated information display and does not provide or store any game resources.
Brief Closing¶
By aggregating multi-source data and providing automatic refresh and fallback mechanisms, this plugin addresses the pain point of querying 2D game schedules. More details can be found on the project homepage or GitHub repository.
