Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture. When using OpenSpec workflow skills, developers need to manually configure them in DSH’s skill registry. The dsh-openspec plugin solves this integration issue by registering the 12 core OpenSpec workflow skills in the DSH environment and providing a set of command aliases for direct user invocation.
Plugin Positioning¶
This is a Cordis-based plugin maintained by dragonTalon. It registers OpenSpec workflow skills using standard kebab-case naming, allowing /openspec-xxx commands to work directly through DSH’s skill tools and user invocation injection mechanism.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following capabilities:
1. 12 canonical skills: Registered as skills in the openspec-* format, supporting both model invocation and user invocation.
2. 12 command aliases: Provides /opsx-* command aliases with content identical to the corresponding canonical skills, but restricted to user invocation.
3. No runtime state: Skills are managed through DSH’s skill registry and do not depend on additional runtime state.
Installation and Activation¶
The plugin depends on the core DSH dependency packages: @deepseek-ai/cordis, @deepseek-ai/dsh-invariants, and @deepseek-ai/dsh-skill.
Install the plugin into a specified profile:
dsh plugin --profile <name> add github:dragonTalon/dsh-openspec
Or add it to a standard Node project:
npm install github:dragonTalon/dsh-openspec
Note: When installing via Git, the plugin is automatically built through the
preparescript. If usingpnpm, build scripts for Git dependencies are blocked by default. If the build fails, add the package name to theallowBuildslist in the profile’spnpm-workspace.yaml.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, it can be used in the following ways:
- Canonical invocation:
/openspec-new-change,/openspec-explore, etc. - Alias invocation:
/opsx-new,/opsx-explore, etc.
If command aliases are not needed, they can be disabled in configuration:
import * as dshOpenspec from '@dragon-talon/dsh-openspec'
ctx.plugin(dshOpenspec, { aliases: false })

The plugin contains the following 12 skills and their corresponding aliases:

Summary¶
This plugin provides ready-to-use OpenSpec workflow support for DeepSeek Harness. By standardizing skill registration and offering convenient command aliases, it simplifies the process of implementing OpenSpec workflows in the DSH environment.
