@ddtcorex/dsh-maestro-devkit is designed to provide developers with a unified toolkit to address view review, style debugging, and component isolation.
Plugin Overview¶
This is a general-purpose development toolkit, primarily targeting DSH view development and debugging scenarios. Maintained by ddtcorex, it provides a set of frontend tools, including visual review, Hot Module Replacement (HMR), a style inspector, and support for Cordis, Govard, and Skills development. The toolkit is tunnel-aware, adapting to both local development and tunnel-access scenarios.
Core Features¶
The plugin includes the following core modules:
-
View Capture (
frontend_capture)
Supports multi-viewport screenshots and captures DOM structure and geometric information. It is tunnel-friendly and can identify different access addresses such aslocalorhttps://tunnel.example.com. -
Hot Module Replacement (
frontend_hmr)
Useschokidarto listen for file changes and automatically classifies change types:dist hot-patch: direct hot patch.build:client: client build.host-restart: host restart required.
Before applying replacement, it validates the target URL’s availability withcurl.
-
Style Inspection (
frontend_inspect)
Through an RPC channel registered by the client, it retrieves realgetComputedStyleresults directly from the active browser tab. Results are displayed in an inline overlay panel for real-time style debugging. -
Component Isolation (
frontend_isolate)
Allows developers to isolate a single slot into a sandbox environment for testing. Isolation mode can be entered by accessing a URL with specific query parameters:
/?__devkit_sandbox=<slot>&props=<json>
In isolation mode, developers can modify properties through a JSON editor and observe the result using a viewport switcher.
-
Session Development (
devkit_session)
Developers can directly view and inspect the real session list throughctx.sessions, making it easier to debug runtime state. -
Govard and Skills Support
devkit_govard: provides Govard-related commands (only commands on the allow-list).devkit_skills: provides a real filesystem list and scaffolding features for Skills development.
Installation and Activation¶
Installing this plugin requires using the DSH plugin installation command.
- Run the installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add @ddtcorex/dsh-maestro-devkit
- After installation, restart the
dsh webprocess for the plugin to take effect.
Typical Usage¶
Developers typically use this plugin in the following scenarios:
- Style debugging: Open the developer tools panel on the page to view real-time computed style properties.
- Component isolation testing: For a specific slot, use the URL parameter
/?__devkit_sandbox=slot_name&props={"key": "value"}to quickly switch props and test rendering results. - View review: Use multi-viewport capture to verify layout behavior at different screen sizes.
Notes¶
This plugin has currently been marked as Retired. Because its UI and tools failed to complete a full, demonstrable development workflow, and due to feature duplication, no new runtime versions will be published for this package.
- No replacement: There is currently no tool that can directly replace this plugin.
- Rollback support: The existing
0.3.2version artifacts can still be installed for rollback. - Version change: In
0.2.0, thedevkit_cordis_inspectanddevkit_pluginmodules were removed. The functionality of these modules duplicated the core@deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-cordisextension; developers should use the commands provided by the core extension directly, such ascordis_inspect_listandcordis_define.
Conclusion¶
Although the plugin is no longer maintained, its ideas for view capture, style inspection, and component isolation still provide reference value for the DSH ecosystem. Developers who need to debug views and components quickly can refer to its implementation or directly use general-purpose tool combinations such as Chrome DevTools/CDP.
